After seven long years, Cybernauts came back.
And honestly, it felt good to see the name alive again.
bKash Limited Presents Cybernauts 26, Powered by Global Brand PLC., in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, brought together students from across the country for a journey filled with competition, excitement, pressure, friendship, and countless memories. With Monarch IT Ltd. as the Platinum Sponsor and Tech Diversity Ltd as the Gold Sponsor, this comeback became something much bigger than just an event.
With 14 different segments, there was something for everyone. Programming, cybersecurity, Datathon, robotics, esports, and more brought together people with completely different interests but the same excitement to compete and create.
For the first time at North South University, CTF and Datathon became part of Cybernauts. The CTF arena was full of teams searching for vulnerabilities, chasing flags, getting stuck, discussing possibilities, and celebrating that moment when a challenge finally fell. The Datathon brought a different kind of pressure as participants worked with data, looked for patterns, built solutions, and tried to turn numbers into meaningful ideas. Behind every submission were hours of preparation, teamwork, trial and error, and plenty of moments of “let’s try this one more time.”
Then there was robotics, where all the planning and building finally came down to those few moments in the arena. Teams watched every movement, hoping their machines would do exactly what they had practiced.
And when the esports matches started, the whole atmosphere changed. Counter Strike 2 returned to Cybernauts, bringing back a familiar favorite, while Marvel Rivals made its debut and added something completely new to the lineup. The cheers after a clutch play, the tension during close matches, and even the frustration after a narrow loss became part of the story.
But when we look back, Cybernauts was never only about the competitions.
It was about the people.
The participants who spent weeks preparing. The teams that kept trying after something went wrong. The volunteers were constantly moving behind the scenes. The organizers solved problems as they came. The strangers who became friends. The conversations between matches. The late nights, the laughter, the stress, the celebrations, and all those small moments that nobody planned but everyone remembers.
After seven years, Cybernauts was no longer just a memory from NSU's past.
It was alive again.
Fourteen segments. Thousands of moments. Countless stories.
A legacy returned, a new generation stepped in, and a new chapter of Cybernauts was written.
This was Cybernauts 26. ❤️🔥
And after everything, one thing feels certain: this is only the beginning.
