The Role of Youth in Cancer Control 🎗ī¸

Cancer Awareness Foundation Bangladesh successfully organized a program at Dhaka Central International Medical College focusing on “The Role of Youth in Cancer Control.”

The programme was honoured by the distinguished presence of our esteemed Principal, Prof. Dr. A. B. M. Abdul Matin (Abmabdul Matin) Sir, whose gracious presence throughout the session added distinction to the occasion. His valuable guidance and thoughtful observations offered meaningful encouragement to the students and underscored the institution’s support for initiatives that promote awareness and responsible youth engagement.

The session featured our honoured guest and accomplished speaker, Dr. Mohammad Masumul Haque Sir, Founder & Secretary General of Cancer Awareness Foundation Bangladesh, as the key speaker. He shared valuable insights on cancer prevention, control and awareness, while highlighting the important role of youth in contributing to cancer control.

The programme at DCIMC was facilitated by Md. Affan Rahman, Vice President, and Supriya Sarker, Joint Organizing Secretary of DCIMC Students Community, who also serve as DCIMC Campus Ambassadors of the Youth Cancer Control Programme. Alongside them, fellow DCIMC Campus Ambassadors Nowsin Sarwar Sinthy, Atif Ansari, and Najmus Saher also took part in the initiative, contributing to its coordination and ex*****on.

The occasion was also marked by the presence of Dr. Kazim Fahim Akash, Founder President of DCIMC Students Community, and Dr. Muaz Rahman, Founder General Secretary. They were joined by the members of the current Executive Committee of DCIMC Students Community.

A meaningful session bringing together medical education, cancer awareness, and youth participation, with the shared aim of fostering a more informed and cancer-conscious generation. 🎗ī¸âœ¨
