He also emphasized the potential of developing higher-value products using alternative materials and local resources, including jute, while reducing excessive dependence on imported raw materials.

The meeting focused on identifying and acknowledging the current challenges faced by BGBA and its members, with the objective of gaining practical insights from the Standing Committee representatives and understanding the issues from different departmental perspectives.

During the session, Committee Members shared their observations, experiences, and views on the challenges encountered in their respective areas of responsibility. The discussions provided an important platform for bringing practical field-level issues to the attention of the Association and creating a clearer understanding of the areas requiring attention and collective action.

BGBA believes that effective communication, collective participation, and practical recommendations from its Standing Committees are essential to addressing emerging challenges and strengthening the Associationโ€™s services and activities.

The Association remains committed to working collaboratively with its Standing Committees and members to develop practical approaches, strengthen member support, and ensure more effective and coordinated initiatives for the continued progress of BGBA and the RMG Buying House sector.
