Consumers Association of Bangladesh-CAB Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) is a national consumer rights defender organization in the form of discussion, slogans & T.V.

Consumer Education
Due to mass illiteracy and lack of appropriate protective laws the status of awareness on consumers’ rights and responsibilities among the people in Bangladesh is generally poor. In order to raise this awareness among the consumers CAB undertakes educational activities in the form of seminars, workshops, training, conferences, group meetings, awareness building campaigns, rallie

s, printing and distribution of educational materials on regular basis. CAB also publishes bimonthly consumer news bulletin (Consumer Voice) to feed the consumers with information on consumer issues, events and problems. Information on consumerism, consumer issues and problems is also disseminated through print media in the form of features and press release (newspapers and magazine) and through electronic media ( Radio and TV.) spots, talk show, spots, advertising etc.
