Our Story
This is an official page of United Purpose Bangladesh. Our work covers water-sanitation-hygiene, (WASH), health, disaster risk management, food security, nutrition, water management and humanitarian response in Bangladesh.
Over the past 8 years, UP Bangladesh has been promoting the proven concept of Local Service Providers (LSP), who are selected by the target communities to become their technical and market agents.Our unique approach combines ground-breaking innovation with decades of deep personal relationships and community-driven solutions to solve the problems faced by those furthest left behind and most marginalised.
We have country offices in Malawi, Mozambique, Ghana, Guinea, Nigeria, Senegal and the Gambia, Bangladesh, Brazil the UK and projects working with local partners in Cameroon, Kenya, Zambia, India, Uganda, Rwanda and South Africa.
