Our Youth Innovation Lab (YIL) was initiated in Dhaka this year, bringing forth some of the most innovative solutions from youth who are determined to find solutions to some of the greatest challenges in their communities. The three Yes Card recipients this year included:

✅an indoor plant cultivation for floating farm
✅eco-friendly charcoal from corn husks, and
✅empowering women in Mohammadpur to produce garments and linking them to digital markets.

Youth Foundation of Bangladesh -YFB Successfully Completes Capacity Enhancement Training under the Shomotay Tarunno Youth for Equality Project

Youth Foundation of Bangladesh (YFB) is proud to announce the successful participation of its youth representatives in the Capacity Enhancement Training organized under the Shomotay Tarunno – Youth for Equality Project.

Representing YFB, Sumaiya Somaya Amin Brishti and Mirazul Islam successfully completed the two-day residential training, where they enhanced their knowledge and practical skills in the following thematic areas:

• Gender Stereotypes and Gender Equality
• Women's Rights
• Safeguarding
• Digital Safety and Media Literacy
• Advocacy and Youth Engagement

This training has strengthened the capacity of our youth leaders to promote equality, safeguard communities, and contribute to inclusive social development through informed advocacy and responsible leadership.

Youth Foundation of Bangladesh extends its sincere appreciation to JAAGO Foundation Trust, Plan International Bangladesh, and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangladesh for organizing this impactful initiative and for selecting YFB as a Youth-Led Organisation (YLO) under the Shomotay Tarunno – Youth for Equality Project.

The knowledge and experience gained through this programme will be disseminated among our volunteers and integrated into YFB's future initiatives to advance gender equality, youth leadership, safeguarding, digital literacy, and community resilience across Bangladesh.

Youth Foundation of Bangladesh remains committed to empowering young people as catalysts for positive change and to fostering a society that is inclusive, equitable, and safe for all.

Youth Foundation of Bangladesh -YFB proudly participated in the reception ceremony celebrating National Environment Award 2025 recipient River Friend Md. Monir Hossain for his outstanding contribution to environmental education and awareness.

Together with environmental organizations across the country, Youth Foundation of Bangladesh reaffirmed its commitment to protecting our rivers, biodiversity, and environment through youth-led action and collective efforts.

Congratulations to Md. Monir Hossain on this well-deserved national recognition!

বাংলাদেশে সাম্প্রতিক বন্যা-পরবর্তী বর্তমান পরিস্থিতি, ক্ষয়ক্ষতির সার্বিক চিত্র, ত্রাণ ও পুনর্বাসন কার্যক্রম এবং সরকারের চলমান পরিকল্পনা নিয়ে দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা ও ত্রাণ প্রতিমন্ত্রী জনাব এম. ইকবাল হোসেন-এর সঙ্গে এক জরুরি সভায় অংশগ্রহণ করে Youth Foundation of Bangladesh -YFB -এর প্রতিনিধিদল।

সভায় বন্যাদুর্গত মানুষের জন্য জরুরি ত্রাণ, নিরাপদ আশ্রয়, বিশুদ্ধ পানি, স্বাস্থ্যসেবা, পুনর্বাসন এবং দুর্যোগ-পরবর্তী দীর্ঘমেয়াদি পুনরুদ্ধার কার্যক্রম নিয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আলোচনা হয়। একই সঙ্গে যুব নেতৃত্বাধীন স্বেচ্ছাসেবী কার্যক্রমকে আরও কার্যকর করতে সরকার ও যুব সংগঠনগুলোর সমন্বিত উদ্যোগ জোরদারের ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করা হয়।

Youth Foundation of Bangladesh-এর পক্ষ থেকে মাঠপর্যায়ের অভিজ্ঞতা, ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত মানুষের জরুরি চাহিদা এবং মানবিক সহায়তা কার্যক্রম আরও বেগবান করতে বিভিন্ন বাস্তবভিত্তিক সুপারিশ উপস্থাপন করা হয়। দুর্যোগ-সহনশীল বাংলাদেশ গড়ে তুলতে সরকার ও যুবসমাজের যৌথ প্রচেষ্টা অব্যাহত রাখার প্রত্যয় পুনর্ব্যক্ত করা হয়।

বিশ্ব পরিবেশ দিবস ২০২৬ উপলক্ষে "Girls- and Youth-Led Climate Action" সেমিনারে Youth Foundation of Bangladesh -YFB এর অংশগ্রহণ।

বিশ্ব পরিবেশ দিবস ২০২৬ উদযাপন উপলক্ষে পরিবেশ অধিদপ্তরে প্ল্যান ইন্টারন্যাশনাল বাংলাদেশ এবং বাংলাদেশ ইয়ুথ কোয়ালিশন (BYC)-এর সহযোগিতায় আয়োজিত "Girls- and Youth-Led Climate Action" শীর্ষক সেমিনারে Youth Foundation of Bangladesh (YFB) সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করেছে।

এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সেমিনারে উন্নয়ন সহযোগী, কূটনীতিক, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক ও গবেষক, নাগরিক সমাজ, জলবায়ু বিশেষজ্ঞ, গণমাধ্যম এবং বিভিন্ন যুব নেতৃত্বাধীন সংগঠনের প্রতিনিধিরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন। আলোচনায় কিশোরী ও তরুণদের জলবায়ু নেতৃত্ব, স্থানীয়ভাবে পরিচালিত জলবায়ু অভিযোজন, নবায়নযোগ্য জ্বালানি, পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ এবং টেকসই উন্নয়নে যুবসমাজের কার্যকর ভূমিকার ওপর বিশেষ গুরুত্বারোপ করা হয়।

Youth Foundation of Bangladesh বিশ্বাস করে যে, একটি সবুজ, সহনশীল ও টেকসই বাংলাদেশ গড়ে তুলতে তরুণদের সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণ, উদ্ভাবনী চিন্তা এবং সমন্বিত উদ্যোগ অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। আমরা পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ, জলবায়ু ন্যায়বিচার এবং যুব নেতৃত্ব বিকাশে আমাদের অঙ্গীকার পুনর্ব্যক্ত করছি এবং এ ধরনের জাতীয় উদ্যোগে সম্পৃক্ত থাকতে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।

একসঙ্গে কাজ করলেই সম্ভব একটি নিরাপদ, সবুজ ও জলবায়ু-সহনশীল বাংলাদেশ গড়ে তোলা। 💚

Youth Foundation of Bangladesh -YFB is proud to participate in the Food Systems Youth Leadership Training of Mobilisers (FoSYLX ToM).

This important training aims to strengthen the leadership capacity of young mobilisers by enhancing their knowledge and skills on sustainable food systems, nutrition, climate resilience, and community engagement. Through this initiative, participants will be better equipped to inspire and mobilise communities towards healthier, more inclusive, and sustainable food systems.

At YFB, we firmly believe that empowered young people are key drivers of sustainable development. By investing in youth leadership and innovation, we are contributing to the development of resilient communities and advancing the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We look forward to applying the knowledge and experience gained through this training to create lasting positive impact across communities.

আজ আমরা মানববন্ধনের মাধ্যমে আমাদের কণ্ঠস্বর তুলেছি—একটি ন্যায্য, অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক এবং তরুণবান্ধব বাজেটের দাবিতে। তরুণদের জন্য পেইড ইন্টার্নশিপ চালু, কর্মজীবীদের বেতনে অযুক্তিক ভ্যাট কমানো, দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন ও কর্মসংস্থানের বাস্তব সুযোগ সৃষ্টি—এসব দাবিতে আমরা একসাথে দাঁড়িয়েছি।

শিশু থেকে বৃদ্ধ—সবার জন্য সমৃদ্ধ একটি বাজেট গড়ার প্রত্যয়ে আমাদের এই আয়োজন।

এই মানববন্ধনটি আয়োজনে পাশে ছিল Youth Foundation of Bangladesh -YFB, আমরাই আগামী - Amrai Agami , Prochesta Foundation এবং সহযোগিতায় ছিল Democratic Budget Movement ও South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE).

একসাথে আমরা পরিবর্তনের পথে এগিয়ে যেতে চাই।
