সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাতের প্রেসিডেন্ট মহামান্য শেখ মোহাম্মদ বিন জায়েদ আল নাহিয়ান আজ গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমানের কাছ থেকে একটি ফোন কল গ্রহণ করেছেন। ফোনালাপে প্রধানমন্ত্রী সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত এবং অত্র অঞ্চলের অন্যান্য দেশগুলোকে লক্ষ্য করে ইরানের নগ্ন হামলার তীব্র নিন্দা জানান এবং আমিরাতের সার্বভৌমত্ব, নিরাপত্তা ও জনগণের সুরক্ষা নিশ্চিত করতে দেশটির গৃহীত সকল পদক্ষেপের প্রতি বাংলাদেশের সংহতি প্রকাশ করেন।

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, today received a phone call from His Highness Prime Minister Tarique Rahman of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. In the phone call, the Prime Minister strongly condemned Iran's explicit aggression against the UAE and other Gulf countries in the region and expressed Bangladesh's solidarity with all the steps taken by the country to ensure the sovereignty, security and safety of its people.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked Prime Minister Tarique Rahman for Bangladesh's supportive stance towards the UAE.
Both sides stressed the need for an immediate cessation of military tensions to prevent the spread of conflict in the region and its serious impact on regional and global security.

They also expressed their belief that any issue can be resolved through diplomatic means and dialogue.
