যুবদের জন্য, যুবদের প্রানের প্রতিষ্ঠান শেখ হাসিনা জাতীয় যুব উন্নয়ন ইনস্টিটিউটে প্রথম বারের মত শুরু হচ্ছে ৩টি ডিপ্লোমা কোর্স । ৬ মাসের কোর্সটি সম্পুর্ন আবাসিক।

১৮ থেকে ৩৫ বয়স বয়সী নারী পুরুষ সবাই আবেদন করতে পারবেন। যারা এই ৩ বিষয়ে আগ্রহী তারা আবেদন করতে পারেন।

"সামাজিক শিক্ষাঙ্গন" সংস্থাটি আঁগরতলা, ত্রিপুরাতে চা শ্রমিকদের বাচ্চাদের জন্য শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করছে। সিডরা বাংলাদেশ এবং সেন্টার ফর ওমেন এন্ড ইন্ভাইরোমেন্টাল সিকিউরিটির যৌথ সফরে তাদের স্বেচ্ছাসেবক এবং বাচ্চাদের সাথে কথা বলার, তাদের কার্যক্রম গুলো সম্পর্কে জানার এবং বাংলাদেশ সম্পর্কে জানানোর সুযোগ হয়েছিল।

সামাজিক শিক্ষাঙ্গন এর পাশাপাশি এখানে উপস্থিত ছিল 'দৃষ্টিপাত সামাজিক' কর্মীরা। কি দারুন ভাবে তারা কাজ করছে এসব পাহাড়ি জনগোষ্ঠীর জীবন মান উন্নয়নে।
তারা সবাই অসাধারণ। তাদের আতিথিয়তা, শুভেচ্ছা সবকিছু অতি মনোমুগ্ধকর ছিল।

Japan's Sakurajima volcano erupts, prompting highest alert. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) said the volcano erupted around 8:05 p.m. local time (7:05 a.m. ET).

Sakurajima volcano, located on the island of Kyushu, erupted on Sunday, prompting evacuations in the region. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) said the volcano erupted around 8:05 p.m. local time (7:05 a.m. ET). JMA announced a Level 5 alert -- the highest level -- calling for people to evacuate. JMA advised caution to residents in Kagoshima Prefecture and Kagoshima City.

According to NASA, Sakurajima is one of Japan's most active volcanoes, having erupted on several occasions in recent decades. It previously erupted in January, spewing a cloud of ash kilometers into the air.

SIDRA Bangladesh is recruiting young enthusiastic youths from all over the country as "Global Green Ambassador" for our upcoming camping 'Global oxygen hour 2.0'. I'f you are interested then come and join us!

Ambassador requirement:
Need to be expert in active communication.

Core Responsibilities of the ambassador:
1. Support and publicity of the camping in both online and offline platforms
2. Promoting the camping among your peers and campus.
3. Spreading awareness and benefit of the camping through online and offline platforms.
4. Reaching people within their communities with the goal and importance of this event.
5. For the successful completion of the event all ambassador must plant at least one tree and post the picture in their social media tagging their friends.

The representatives of SIDRA will get the following advantages:

2. Membership from SIDRA Bangladesh
3. Long term working opportunity with SIDRA.

৫০ বছরের মাইলফলক পেরিয়ে স্বাধীনতা উদযাপনের এ বছরে, স্বাধীনতার মর্মকে নতুন প্রজন্মের কাছে পৌঁছে দেওয়াই হোক আমাদের আগামীর প্রত্যাশা। আগামী প্রজন্মের হাত ধরে লাল-সবুজের পতাকার মর্যাদা টিকে থাকুক আরও শত বছর।

A new dimension of architecture

Friendship Hospital in Satkhira's Shyamnagar upazila been named the best new building in the world, winning the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) international prize 2021.

A model of climate-conscious design built with the bare minimum of resources, the hospital beat off competition from a gallery in Berlin by David Chipperfield, and a cycle and footbridge in Denmark by Wilkinson Eyre, reports the Guardian.

Located in Satkhira, in the waterlogged landscape in the south-western part of the country , the winner of the Royal Institute of British Architects' award used water as its chief starting point.
