We are hiring GIS Analysts for the upcoming Mass Dog Vaccination (MDV) campaign of National Rabies Elimination Program (NREP), Communicable Disease Control (CDC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

GroupMappers has been working with the MDV program since 2018, supporting their campaigns with GIS support, including training, data collection, field mapping, team coordination, data management and real-time data updates in the field.

A total of two campaigns will take place between 2 January 2026 and 18 January 2026. For each campaign, candidates must stay 8 days in different upazilas of Chattogram district.

Requirements:
Basic understanding of GIS
Personal laptop capable of GIS work
Android smartphone
Full availability during the campaign timeline

Two Mandatory office training will be held between Sunday 28 December 2025 and 1 January 2026 from 10 AM to 6 PM in GroupMappers office conference room.

Attendance in training is compulsory for shortlisted selected candidates. During first training capacity assessments will be conducted and final candidates will be selected for second training.

Volunteer Workshop at the University of Rajshahi

Today, we successfully conducted a Volunteer Workshop at the Jabir Ibn Hayyan Building, University of Rajshahi, hosted by the GroupMappers, MORU in collaboration with Department of Mathematics.

The workshop was designed to introduce students to geospatial technologies, volunteer opportunities, and open data platforms.

More than 40 students from the Departments of Mathematics and Geography & Environment participated.

We have successfully conducted another Knowledge Dissemination and Capacity Development Workshop under the Climate Change and Health Project at Rowangchhari Upazila, Bandarban District. The workshop, held on 9 November 2025, aimed to strengthen the capacity of local health authorities and partners in understanding and utilizing climate and health data for informed decision-making.

The session was attended by the Dental Surgeon, Health Inspector, and Healthcare Providers from the Upazila Health Complex, alongside representatives from BRAC. Union Chairmen from the respective unions were also present, reflecting strong local engagement and commitment to community-based health and climate initiatives.

We have successfully conducted another workshop on Knowledge Dissemination and Capacity Development for Climate Change and Health Project at Naikhogchhari Upazila under Bandarban District.
The workshop is held on 6th November,2025 with the presence of Medical Officer Disease Control, Health Inspector, Health Care Providers from Upazila Health Complex and BRAC. Union chairmans from the respective upazila were present as well.
