TEXT Readers' TEXT Readers' is a performance oriented study circle. WHAT IS TEXT READERS’:

TEXT Readers’ is a performance oriented study/reading circle.

In other word, it may be called as a Performer’s study circle. Though TR is a study circle, it focuses on performance. Like other study/reading circle, TR’s common interest is performance that based on various issues. MEANING OF TEXT READERS’ AND PERFORMANCE:

Usually ‘text’ means, “any form of written material ”. But, in TR the term 'TEXT' indicates the whole universe, and we [performers/members]

are the Readers. In TR, ‘performance’ is a sort of research work on a certain issue/topic. COURSE OF ACTION:

• In TEXT Readers' we actually read the universe [in other word- all belongings/concepts/issues of the universe]
• After reading/studying any selected issue/topic, performers will express their reaction through a designed performance
• Here performance includes all forms of Arts [i.e. Musical, Dance, Theatrical, Paintings, Literature, Film and so on]
• TR produces/innovates/creates a performance as a reaction to a particular study


PURPOSES/OBJECTIVES:

Here are some indispensable purposes of TR-

• To boost Democratic approaches among members through performance
• To heighten the consciousness about Human Rights/individual’s right [specially right to freedom of speech and thought]. To doing so, TR shall produces performances on these imperative issues
• To establish a reading/observation habit on societal issues
• To provide a social context for promoting literacy
• To edify readers to find information in printed text or any form of artistic work
• To promote community development
• To develop communication expertise between individuals
• To craft theoretical/Applied performers
• To generate unbiased discourses/ perception on any matters amongst members
• To stimulate critical literacy

Dark Poet, a maid's breast
