Jahangirnagar University has officially launched the JU branch of Doors for Inclusive Society (DIS) to support students with special needs.

At the inauguration ceremony, scholarships, smartphones, and white canes were distributed among beneficiaries. Volunteers were also honored for their contributions, and a Braille Qur’an recitation course was formally introduced to promote inclusive learning.

At the same ceremony, DIS President SM Fardoush Alam was honored with an award by the Vice-Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University, Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan.

On 26 February 2026, the Chottrogram University Unit of Doors for Inclusive Society (DIS) organized an Iftar and Dua Mahfil at Hotel Zaman Restaurant, Chottrogram. Annual Iftar & Dua Mahfil

Doors for Inclusive Society (DIS) successfully organized its Annual Iftar and Dua Mahfil with due solemnity and dignity on 21 February.

Mr. Rehan Zafar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The program was presided over by the President of DIS, S. M. Fardoush Alam. Among others present were the General Secretary, Seema Iqbal, and the Organizing Secretary, Ishrat Kader Binta.

On this occasion, DIS distributed laptops, smartphones, and smart canes, and awarded special scholarships to visually impaired students as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting inclusive education and empowerment.
