JCI Dhaka Astral successfully concluded its 1st General Members Meeting (GMM) & Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) on 24 April 2026 at Enam Cancer Centre, Savar.

The event was enriched by the gracious presence of National Governing Board members, Local President & the vibrant Astral family.

We were also honored to have our Mentor - 2026 NVP Sumaiya Haque & Immediate Past Local President & 2026 RVP Shams Md Enam, whose inspiring words energized our members to grow into impactful and successful leaders for the future.

A meaningful day of awareness, action & community impact. (Participants 300+)

JCI Dhaka Astral, in collaboration with Enam Medical College Hospital (EMCH) , organized a Cancer Day celebration, cancer prevention awareness program & Cancer Day rally with the participation of more than 300 attendees.

We were honored by the presence of the 2026 National Secretary General of JCI Bangladesh- Sinan Arefeen, 2026 Regional Vice President Shams Md Enam, 2026 Local President DrCynthia Afreen and fellow Astral members along with Principal, Chairman, Hospital Director, Deputy Director from EMCH whose support made the program even more impactful.

The Cancer Day rally brought everyone together with one common message โ€” early detection, healthy lifestyle choices, regular screening, awareness can save lives.

Together, we believe every conversation, every rally & every awareness activity brings us one step closer to a healthier and cancer-conscious community.
