Another child lost.
Another shattered family.
Another nation briefly horrified before slowly moving on.

Evil has always existed.
What frightens me now is the numbness surrounding it.

Protect your children fiercely.
Know where they are.
Know who they are with.
Listen when something feels wrong.Because vigilance is no longer paranoia. It is parenting.

And justice must not arrive as theatre or symbolism. It must be swift, proportionate, and uncompromising. A society that cannot protect its children, or punish those who prey on them, is failing its most sacred duty.

From the organizers of BDC Fundraising 2026 arranged by ULAB Debating Club to the dedicated volunteers working behind the scenes, everyone played an important role in making the event successful. Some managed seats, some guided guests, some handled timekeeping, and every effort truly mattered. Seeing everyone recognized for their dedication and hard work made the day special. 💙✨

Alongside the organizers and volunteers, our talented young debaters were also rewarded for their performances and achievements. Their confidence and dedication on stage were truly inspiring. Every smile and applause reminded us that sincere effort never goes unnoticed. 🏆🌟

On 16th May, Day 2 of BDC Fundraiser 2026 was nothing short of extraordinary — from intense moments of brainstorming after receiving the motions to delivering powerful arguments on the debate floor.

The Semi-Final and Final rounds reflected the true spirit of debating: critical thinking, teamwork, strategy, and the courage to stand firmly behind every argument. Every expression, every discussion, and every speech carried the passion and dedication of the debaters competing at their very best.

With immense pride and gratitude, the ULAB Debating Club, alongside the Bangladesh Debating Council (BDC), successfully commenced BDC Fundraiser 2026.

The 1st day of the tournament 15th May, 2026
reflected the brilliance, determination, and potential of the young generation, whose voices carried not only arguments, but vision, confidence, and inspiration for the future.

As organizers, it was a privilege to contribute to an initiative that upholds the values of leadership, intellect, and collaboration at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB).
