🎭 The Cultural Mystery Room
📜 Rules, Terms & Conditions (1st Round)
🔹 1. Participation Format
• A total of 10 teams will compete in the 1st round
• Each team will consist of 2 members (NDUB students only)
• This round will follow a knockout format
• The top 6 teams will qualify for the next round
🔹 2. Game Structure & Time Rules ⏳
• The competition will take place in 5 separate rooms
• In each room, 2 teams will compete, but only one team will enter at a time
• All teams must wait outside the room before their turn
• Teams may enter only when instructed by the EC members
• Once inside, the team must:
➤ Solve all assigned tasks
➤ Escape the room as quickly as possible
➤ Lock the door properly before exiting
• Time will start immediately upon entering the room
• Time will stop only after the team exits and locks the door
🔹 3. Tasks & Challenges
• Each team will face 4 different tasks inside the room
• Tasks may include:
📚 Cultural and heritage-based challenges & GK
🧩 Puzzle solving
🧠 Logical and creative thinking
• One task will include 10 GK questions (Q&A and MCQ format)
🔹 4. Penalty System ⚠️
• If a team cannot complete any of the 4 tasks, they may choose to surrender that task
➤ Penalty: +5 minutes added to the total time per skipped task
• For the GK task only:
➤ Each wrong answer = +30 seconds penalty
• All penalties will be added to the final escape time
🔹 5. Entry Restrictions & Prohibited Items 🚫
• Only the 2 team members are allowed inside the room
• Audience members are strictly prohibited from entering the Mystery Room
• Only EC members of the NDUB Cultural Club will be present inside for supervision
• Mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited
• Violation of these rules may lead to immediate disqualification
🔹 6. Qualification Criteria
• Teams will be ranked based on their total time (including penalties)
• The fastest 6 teams will qualify for the next round
🔹 7. Result Announcement
• Results will be announced after all 10 teams have completed their performances
• Evaluation will be based on:
✔ Task completion
✔ Accuracy
✔ Total time (including penalties)
🔹 8. Organizer’s Authority
• The organizing team of the NDUB Cultural Club reserves the right to:
➤ Make final decisions regarding rules and results
➤ Modify rules if necessary to ensure smooth ex*****on of the event
🔹 9. 1st Round Room Allocation & Playing Order 🚪
The 1st round game will be held in the following rooms:
• Room 309: Team Baishakhi & Team FC Final
• Room 311: Team Clueless Agents & Team Akatsuki
• Room 412: Team The Clueless Experts & Team Mayer Dua
• Room 510: Team Hoi-choi & Team Tal-loy
• Room 605: Team Nagordola & Team Phoenix
• All teams must wait outside their assigned room before their turn
• Teams must wait until the room is fully prepared and declared ready by the EC members
• Each team will play one by one, not simultaneously
• The next team may enter only after the previous team has completed the game and the room is reset
