একসময় বিদ্যুতের অভাব ছিল প্রতিদিনের বাস্তবতা। আজ সেই ঘরগুলো আলোকিত হচ্ছে সোলার প্যানেলের আলোয়।

Prime Bank -এর সহযোগিতায় সোনাদিয়ার ৩১৩টি পরিবারের হাতে পৌঁছে দেওয়া হয়েছে সোলার প্যানেল, যা শুধু আলোই নয়, নিয়ে এসেছে নিরাপত্তা, স্বস্তি এবং নতুন সম্ভাবনার পথ।
প্রতিটি হাসিমুখ আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয়, টেকসই উদ্যোগই পারে একটি সম্প্রদায়ের ভবিষ্যৎ বদলে দিতে।

উপকূলীয় অঞ্চলের হাজারো পরিবার এখনো নিরাপদ পানির সংকটে জীবনযাপন করছে। লবণাক্ততার কারণে অনেক এলাকায় সুপেয় পানির উৎস সীমিত, যা প্রতিদিনের জীবনকে আরও কঠিন করে তোলে।
পন্ড স্যান্ড ফিল্টার (PSF) পুকুরের পানিকে প্রাকৃতিকভাবে পরিশোধন করে নিরাপদ পানির সহজলভ্যতা নিশ্চিত করে। এটি শুধু একটি প্রযুক্তি নয়, বরং উপকূলীয় মানুষের জন্য স্বাস্থ্যকর, নিরাপদ ও টেকসই জীবনের একটি নির্ভরযোগ্য সমাধান।
নিরাপদ পানির এই যাত্রায় আমাদের পাশে থাকুন, থাকুন Footsteps Bangladesh-এর সঙ্গে।

Together, we turned your generosity into impact.

With BDT 29,45,757 in humanitarian aid, we directly impacted 2,832 lives, providing relief packages, cooked meals, and medical support to flood-affected communities in Chattogram and Bandarban.

While our emergency response has reached thousands, our work is far from over. The remaining funds will now be dedicated to the next phase of recovery: rehabilitating farmers and fishermen, reconstructing homes, and restoring sustainable livelihoods.

Thank you for standing with us. Together, we're not just responding to a crisis, we're helping communities rebuild for the future.

Christey West is an international development practitioner with more than two decades of experience living and working across Japan and Southeast Asia. As Co-Founder of Just Peoples, she helped establish an international NGO that partners with grassroots organisations across Asia and East Africa through trust-based philanthropy, spending more than a decade building strategic partnerships to support locally led development. Just Peoples is a long-term supporter of Footsteps Bangladesh and its commitment to community-led change.

Christey brings expertise in international development, partnership development, fundraising, and governance. She is a strong advocate for equitable partnerships and believes lasting impact is achieved by investing in local leadership and community-driven solutions.

We look forward to Christey's wealth of expertise and experience in enhancing our journey of empowering communities and changing livelihoods across Bangladesh.

Project BHOROSHA successfully conducted a two-day Training of Trainers (TOT) on Climate-Resilient Agricultural Practices and Coastal Farmer Empowerment in Barguna on 23-24 July 2026.

A total of 25 trainers were equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to support climate-smart agriculture and strengthen the resilience of coastal farming communities. The sessions were facilitated by Professor Dr. Gopal Saha, Chairman, Department of Agronomy, and Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, Lecturer, Department of Agronomy, Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU).

Implemented by Footsteps Bangladesh with the support of Mutual Trust Bank PLC and in collaboration with Shopno Puron Jubo Foundation, Project BHOROSHA continues to invest in local capacity to build a more resilient future for farmers.

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the Britto Scholarship Program 2026, through which 48 meritorious students were awarded scholarships in recognition of their academic excellence, perseverance, and potential.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to empowering talented young individuals by supporting their educational journey and helping them pursue their aspirations with confidence.

We were honored to have Sayeed Ibrahim Ahmed and Nayoka Martinez Backstrom as our Special Guests. We also sincerely thank Fatema Tuz Zohra, Trustee of Footsteps Bangladesh, and Sumaiya Sudha, Youth & Gender Program Manager and Researcher, who served as a judge for the Britto Scholarship Program, for their valuable support and contributions.
