A Glorious Initiative by the Dhaka District Red Crescent Unit The First RCY Youth Gathering đ
The first-ever RCY Youth Gathering, organized through the self-funding efforts of the RCY members of the Dhaka District Red Crescent Unit, was successfully completed marking a proud and memorable milestone for the district.
Former Youth Chief of the Dhaka District Red Crescent Unit, Shanto Hossain Rabbi, attended the program as the Chief Guest. Distinguished RCY members of the district unit, youth representatives from five upazilas, members of the Youth Executive Committee, RCY volunteers, and respected teacher-in-charges from various educational institutions across Dhaka district were also present.
The program began with a touching documentary drama based on the historic Battle of Solferino. Immediately afterward, the Chief Guest led a candle-lighting ceremony, symbolically spreading the light of humanity throughout the gallery and creating an emotional and unforgettable atmosphere.
During the event, Nawabganj and Savar Upazilas were honored with honorary crests in recognition of their outstanding activities among the five upazilas of the district. In addition, Dhamrai Government College received a special honorary crest for its exceptional contributions and remarkable activities.
The vibrant cultural segment in the afternoon featured dance performances, music, poetry recitation, and band performances, bringing life and energy to the entire event while strengthening the spirit of unity and joy among the youth members.
Under the capable leadership of the current Youth Chief, Rakibul Hasan Rakib the entire event was conducted smoothly and successfully.
