Creating opportunities for students with disabilities starts with building skills, confidence, and well-being.

PDF Rajshahi University Branch, in collaboration with the Environment and Social Welfare Department of the Rajshahi University Central Students’ Union and Rajshahi University, successfully organized a Career Development and Mental Well-being Workshop.

Nearly 50 students with disabilities participated in interactive sessions on career planning, leadership, communication, soft skills, and mental well-being, equipping them with practical skills and greater confidence for their academic and professional journeys.

At PDF, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn, lead, and thrive. Together, we remain committed to building a more inclusive, accessible, and disability-friendly university for all.

For 18 years, the PDF has believed in one simple idea: disability should never be a barrier to opportunity.

On 11 July 2026, we proudly celebrated our 18th Founding Anniversary at the Professor Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium, University of Dhaka, with youth, development partners, academics, policymakers, volunteers, and disability advocates who continue to champion a more inclusive Bangladesh.

More than an anniversary, the celebration was a tribute to the resilience, leadership, and collective action that have shaped our journey over the past 18 years.

A key milestone of the programme was the launch of our research, Inclusive Universities: Gaps, Challenges and Opportunities, offering evidence-based recommendations to make higher education more accessible and inclusive for students with disabilities in Bangladesh.

We also celebrated the people behind this movement—recognizing dedicated volunteers, honouring outstanding students with disabilities, awarding educational scholarships, and sharing PDF’s renewed vision for the future.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our members, partners, friends, and supporters who have stood with us every step of the way.

As we celebrate this milestone, our purpose remains unchanged: to build a Bangladesh where every person with a disability has equal opportunities to learn, lead, participate, and thrive with dignity.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Eighteen years is not the destination—it’s the foundation for everything we will achieve together.
