COP30 পরবর্তী সময়ে Young Climate Action Network - YOUCAN) ও Department of Environment-এর যৌথ উদ্যোগে Post-COP30 Youth & Experts Consultation অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ঢাকায়। এই সংলাপে দেশের উচ্চ পর্যায়ের সরকারি কর্মকর্তা, যুব নেতারা, জলবায়ু বিশেষজ্ঞ ও সিভিল সোসাইটি একত্রিত হয়ে COP31-এর প্রস্তুতি ও স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ নিয়ে আলোচনা করেছেন।

আমাদের ক্লাবের President Tanha Rion এই অনুষ্ঠানে অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন। মূল আলোচনায় ছিল:

🔹 সরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠান, যুব ও নন-স্টেট অ্যাক্টরের মধ্যে সমন্বয় জোরদার করা
🔹 ন্যায়সঙ্গত এনার্জি ট্রানজিশন ও শিশু-কেন্দ্রিক জলবায়ু কর্মসূচি এগিয়ে নেওয়া
🔹 লস অ্যান্ড ড্যামেজ ফাইনান্স ও বাস্তবায়ন সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি করা

উল্লেখযোগ্য অতিথিদের মধ্যে ছিলেন পরিবেশ অধিদপ্তরের মহাপরিচালক জিয়াউল হক মহোদয়, পরিচালক, এবং ইউনিসেফ, ILO সহ জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক সংস্থার প্রতিনিধি সংলাপের শেষে Post-COP30 Climate Action Roadmap প্রণয়নের প্রতিশ্রুতি দেওয়া হয়, যা জাতীয় পরিকল্পনা ও COP31-এর প্রস্তুতিতে সহায়ক হবে।

We are pleased to share that our Communication and Public Relations Secretary, Sāïmüm Muaz and Membership Development Secretary Mymoon Nakiba has successfully completed the highly selective FXB Global Climate Advocates Program (Fall 2025), joining a diverse cohort of youth leaders from across the world working to address pressing climate challenges.

During the programme’s closing session, he presented the work of our college Environment Club, Youth for a Greener Planet, highlighting youth-led climate advocacy, awareness-building initiatives, and community-based engagement. His presentation was appreciated by the FXB Global team for its clear focus on effective advocacy and scalable, campus-level climate action, underscoring the critical role of student leadership in advancing climate solutions.

Following the completion of the programme, he has been inducted into the FXB Global Climate Advocates Alumni Network, further strengthening youth representation and collaboration within global climate action spaces.

🕊️ We Mourn for a Hero 🕊️

With heavy hearts, BAFSK Climate & Environmental Action Network mourns the untimely passing of Sharif Osman Hadi (1993–2025).

Sharif Osman Hadi was a voice of courage, conscience, and conviction. He spoke when silence was easier, stood firm when it was difficult, and inspired many through his words and actions. His commitment to justice, truth, and people-centered change leaves a mark that will not fade.

We honor his life, his courage, and the legacy he leaves behind. May his ideals continue to guide us, and may his soul rest in peace.

Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all those who were touched by his journey.

Gone too soon, remembered forever.
