We are living in an unfair and unjust society led by rich and powerful through their discriminatory attitude and disempowering mechanism to the poor. Poor People are losing their control over natural resources, access to natural resources as well as food due to the market domination mechanism. Coastal Development Partnership (CDP) was evolved to resist the unjust against the poor people.

At the sidelines of the 10th UNESCAP Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD), Reality of Aid - Asia Pacific, together with North-East Affected Area Development Society - NEADS , PIANGO Pacific 2030, Coastal Development Partnership, and CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness-Asia will hold a virtual side event entitled, "Fit For Purpose?: Forwarding the localization agenda to address the conflict and climate crises in the Asia-Pacific region".

The side-event aims to bring together various development actors and CSOs in the region to discuss their various initiatives surrounding localization, and to foster dialogue on how these can be further strengthened and improved.
