According to the decision of the Executive Committee of the Epidemiological Association (EPAB), the EPAB Annual Scientific Conference 2025, scheduled for 28–29 November 2025, has been postponed considering the overall situation in the country. The postponed conference and AGM will be arranged soon after the national election and Ramadan. The revised dates will be announced later on the website and via email.

Completed registrations will remain valid for the rescheduled conference. However, participants may cancel their registration and receive a refund if they wish. For registration cancellation or abstract withdrawal, please contact us by email ([email protected]) or phone (01810 159657).

Annual Epidemiological Conference 2025 will be held on 28-29 November 2025. The conference will be organized by Epidemiological Association of Bangladesh (EPAB).
The theme of this year Conference is "Epidemiology at the Frontiers: Confronting NCDs, Infectious Threats, Climate Change, and Emerging Public Health Challenges in the Changing World".

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Prof. Dr. Mahmudur Rahman in the early hours of this morning, 5th May 2025. Inna lillahe Wa inna Elaihe Rajeun.
Prof. Rahman was a proud Gregorian (1964) and Notre Damian (1966), and a graduate of Dhaka Medical College. He served with distinction as Professor of Epidemiology at NIPSOM, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the field of public health in Bangladesh. He also served as Director of National Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (NIPSOM).
In 2004, he was appointed as a Member of the Public Service Commission (PSC), further extending his contributions to national service. He was one of the founding members of Epidemiological Association of Bangladesh (EPAB) and later played an important advisory role in the subsequent EC committees of EPAB.
Prof. Rahman will be remembered for his academic leadership, integrity, and lasting contributions to public health. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
