Amal Foundation was established in 2014 with a singular mission: to transform the lives of Bangladesh’s most vulnerable communities through hope and empowerment. Rooted in the belief that hope drives change, we draw inspiration from Samuel Smiles’ words: “Hope is
the companion of power, and the mother of success.” Our name, derived from the Arabic word for hope, reflects our vision—becoming a guiding light for those in need. Over 8,000 children have been empowered through our educational programs. We run schools, distribute educational materials, and provide essential support like nutritious meals, ensuring that no child is left behind. Emergency Relief:
We’ve reached 2.1 million people through swift emergency relief, providing life-saving aid such as food, clothing, hygiene kits, and shelter during natural disasters. Our teams are always ready to respond quickly and effectively to support the most vulnerable communities. Empowerment:
Through skills training and livelihood support, we’ve empowered over 45,000 women and youth to become self-sufficient. Our programs focus on teaching practical skills like sewing, farming, and entrepreneurship, which enable individuals to generate income and support their families. Health:
With over 121,000 individuals served in health camps, we provide medical care, health education, and essential treatments. From maternal and child health services to combating waterborne diseases in flood-affected areas, we are dedicated to ensuring holistic well-being for all. Environment:
Our commitment to the environment includes planting 1,000+ trees and promoting climate-smart agriculture.
