Since its establishment, DIU CPC has played a key role in developing problem-solving abilities, competitive programming, software development, research, and industry collaboration among students. The club regularly organizes programming contests, hackathons, workshops, seminars, training sessions, and career-focused events, helping students stay up to date with the latest advancements in technology. One of the club’s major responsibilities is preparing students for prestigious national and international competitions, including the ICPC and various hackathons and coding challenges. DIU CPC also builds a strong bridge between students, industry professionals, and alumni, ensuring career growth and networking opportunities. At DIU CPC, students get the chance to learn, collaborate, and innovate, making it the perfect platform for anyone passionate about programming, problem-solving, and technology. The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIU, Career Development Center (CDC) and Skill Jobs, in collaboration with Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd. with DIU CPC as the Club Partner, are pleased to bring an exciting internship opportunity for students and fresh graduates. To encourage students’ interest in programming and foster a competitive programming mindset among them, DIU CPC from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIU, is once again organizing the DIU Take-Off Programming Contest, Summer 2026. This contest provides an excellent platform for participants to evaluate their current skills and gain valuable experience in a competitive environment.

𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 উপায় (upay)

A successful collaboration meeting was held between DIU CPC from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIU, and উপায় (upay) to explore opportunities for strengthening the connection between academia and industry. The meeting focused on exploring ways to create more learning opportunities for students and strengthen the connection between classroom learning and real-world industry experience.

The meeting was honored by Prof. Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori Sir (Professor & Head, Dept. of CSE), Dr. S. M. Aminul Haque Sir (Professor & Associate Head, Dept. of CSE), Dr. Arif Mahmud Sir (Associate Professor & Associate Head, Dept. of CSE) and Mayen Uddin Mojumdar Sir (Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE and Convener of DIU CPC) along with another respected faculty member.

The discussion focused on creating meaningful learning opportunities for students through industry engagement, including seminars, workshops, training programs, industry visits, competitions and future collaborative initiatives. Both sides shared valuable ideas on bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations while preparing students with the skills required for today's technology-driven workplace.

DIU CPC from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIU, successfully organized an industry visit to weDevs. The visit provided students with the opportunity to explore a real software company, learn about modern development practices and understand how technology products are built and managed in the industry. Participants also interacted with experienced professionals, learned about the company’s work culture and gained practical insights into career opportunities in the software industry.

DIU CPC sincerely thanks weDevs for their warm hospitality and for sharing their valuable experiences with our students. We also appreciate all the participants whose enthusiasm made this industry visit a successful and memorable one.

DIU CPC from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIU, successfully hosted the seminar on Agentic AI: Transforming the Future of Automation.

The session was conducted by Mosaidur Rahman Asif (Alumni & Team Lead, Betopia Ltd.) and Arif Mahmud Sisir (AI Developer, Betopia Ltd.). Participants learned the fundamentals of Agentic AI, its real-world applications, current industry trends and career opportunities in the growing AI field. They also learned how AI agents automate tasks, solve real-world problems and are shaping the future of software development and intelligent automation.

The event was honored by Prof. Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori Sir (Professor & Head, Dept. of CSE), Mayen Uddin Mojumdar Sir (Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE & Convener of DIU CPC), Md.
