Over our two decades of working with children, we have noticed a distinct shift: textbooks are expanding, but hands-on activity is shrinking. Today’s kids are incredibly sharp, but they severely lack tactile lab experience. Basic skills like taking accurate scientific measurements, visualizing how light bends, or understanding the intricate ways human anatomy works cannot be fully mastered through a screen or a book. They need to be experienced.
That is why our upcoming Lab Day is so essential for primary school students. Science shouldn't just be memorized; it needs to be tested, questioned, and touched.
