Dhrubotara Youth Development foundation (DYDF) started its journey in year 2000 from Begumgonj, Noakhali District, Bangladesh with the aim to achieve sustainable socio-economic development, in the country, through empowering youths. Since then DYDF has spread across 54 districts in Bangladesh with a member count exceeding 58000. During this period DYDF was awarded as best Youth Organization from t
he Ministry of Youth and Sports on National Youth Day 2014. It also received the National Youth Award 2016 as the best youth organization from Honorable Prime Minister and Queens Young Leader’s award in 2017. At present DYDF is striving towards fulfilling SDG Agenda 2030 and also achieving its vision of youth empowerment. Vision:

Our key mission is to empower youth through- developing their leadership and management skills and motivating them into becoming responsible citizens and using their positive energy for constructive sustainable development of the nation. Our motto is to engage and create entrepreneurship opportunity for the youth, make them employable, develop their innovative ideas and promote skill based education system. Reduce rural and urban divide and promote access to resources for youth groups. Carry out research to identify gaps and challenges in the social development sector where youth can become potential contributors. Activities:
1. Engage youth in voluntary activities.
2. Organize advocacy campaign to motivate youth for self-development and good citizenship, raise awareness on various human rights issues. Promoting Child rights and working on SRHR issues, combatting GBV
3. Arrange professional skill based training and create entrepreneurship opportunities and facilitate linkage with potential employers for employment generation
4. Engage youth groups with real life projects of social development and advanced technology.
5. Engage in women empowerment through involving young adults particularly girls.
6. Raise voice against all kinds of abuse and discrimination like gender rights and others ethnic groups.
7. Climate Actions, combatting drought and promoting agroecology
8. Work for conservation of nature and wild life.
9. Create support groups for youth in different sectors eg: legal issues, health issues etc.
10. Arranging Youth parliament and Youth conclaves to develop leadership
11. Supporting CBO's and YLO's for youth friendly eco system and strengthening CSO practices, collaborations under BYDA
