World Vision Bangladesh is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty. Inspired by our Christian values, we are dedicated to working with the world’s most vulnerable people, aiming to share and demonstrate love and compassion to all people, esp

ecially to children, and particularly to those living in poverty or suffering from oppression and injustice. World Vision became involved in Bangladesh in response to the tidal surge that occurred in the coastal areas of the country in 1970, providing relief supplies to the affected disasters victims. Following responses to natural disasters and war, World Vision expanded their projects into child-focused activities to provide direct assistance to the needy children of Bangladesh. Please note: If you have a child protection or adult beneficiary concern or any other concern regarding World Vision Bangladesh's work or staff conduct? World Vision Bangladesh is committed to taking action on every safeguarding report we receive. Report your concern confidentially here. http://worldvision.ethicspoint.com

Over the 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬, something powerful unfolded.Young voices came together. Ideas turned into action. And leadership took shape.

At the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 & 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 (𝐍𝐂𝐅) and Advisory Council General Meeting, young leaders from across Bangladesh stepped forward, sharing progress, challenging norms, and reimagining their role in shaping society.

From “𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡” sessions to bold discussions on anti-drug campaigns and civic leadership, this wasn’t just a workshop—it was a space where changemakers were built.

When a child feels safe enough to speak, a quiet voice turns into confidence. A small opinion becomes a bold idea, and a child who once stayed silent starts shaping their own future.

World Vision Bangladesh is working with families and communities to ensure children are protected, heard, and included, because participation and protection aren’t privileges, they are their rights.

Let’s create spaces where every child feels safe to belong and brave to be heard.

Children flourish when they feel 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐝. Too often, fear of dropping out of school, early marriage, and harmful discipline, holds them back.

Through stronger families, supportive communities, and children’s active participation, World Vision Bangladesh is creating spaces where dignity is protected, voices matter, and hope grows.

𝟏.𝟏 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 people reached through child protection programmes—moving us closer to a world where every child can learn, dream, and living 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 without fear.

April, for us, is more than just another month, it is a reminder to care for the people who carry our mission forward.

Across World Vision Bangladesh, we are observing April 2026 as Staff Care Month under the theme “Trust, Healing, and Repair: Strengthening our Staff Care Culture.” It is a recognition that staff care is not a one-week effort, but a daily practice, of listening, following through, and creating space for one another.

This month simply gives it a stronger rhythm through reflection, wellbeing, and meaningful conversations across all Area Programmes.

Our first week, Building Trust, has been a strong and encouraging start across teams:
🔸𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤-𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞𝐬
🔸𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬’ 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠
🔸𝟏𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐙𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚—𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐲 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬

Staff care sits at the heart of our mission. It is reflected in how we lead, how we communicate, and how we show up for one another.

By intentionally creating space for trust, healing, and stronger relationships, we strengthen not just our people, but the impact we seek to create.
Looking forward to continuing this journey into Week 2.

𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐲𝐟𝐮𝐥.✨

Children should worry about homework, games, and their dreams. But for many children, the reality looks different—fear, insecurity, and survival take the place of dreams.

Every child deserves a safe, happy childhood filled with hope, care, and full of possibility.

Let’s Talk - 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭?

Share this to remind others: children deserve childhood, not fear.
