Belated National fossil day and best wishes from the President, Ibrahimul Bari and founding committees of the Bangladesh Academy of Geological Sciences. Here are some recent images of Ibrahimul Bari and his fellow friends showcasing their fossil finds from the 270 million years old rock beds of Damodar river section. The best preserved fossils will be donated to his institution's geology department at the IIT Bhubaneswar .

Bari believes the engagement of fossil and natural history item donation and conservation along with outreach will remove barriers between researchers and general people, regardless any age, race and gender.
