🐾 Urgent Adoption Appeal!! Please Read with Kindness 🐾
Someone recently dumped four very young kittens in front of Anirban Trust.
We want to be very transparent about our situation so people understand why this is dangerous and heartbreaking for us.
At the moment, Anirban Trust is already sheltering around 70 cats. We have crossed our capacity. Because of this, we do not take rescue requests, and this is exactly why.
When a shelter is overcrowded:
Fleas spread very fast
Colds and infections spread easily
Weak or very young kittens are at high risk
Their immune systems are not strong like adult cats
We are already struggling to control fleas, colds, and other health issues, and we are trying our absolute best with limited space and resources. Keeping these tiny kittens here is risky for them and for the cats already under our care.
🙏 Please do not dump kittens or cats in front of Anirban Trust.
Dumping is not rescue. It puts lives in danger.

📋 Adoption Rules & Process (Simple & Necessary)
To ensure the kittens’ safety, the adoption process includes:
Must be serious about lifetime responsibility
Indoor / cat-proof home only
Proper food, basic medical care, and safety required
NID copy is mandatory
Adoption form must be filled
No impulse adoption. Please adopt only if everyone at home agrees
These rules are not to make things difficult, they are to protect the kittens.

🐾 Bonolata’s Journey: From Survival to a New Life 🐾

Thanks to your love and support, Bonolata has recovered from the life-threatening dog attack she survived earlier. She is now stable, healing well, and ready for her next step toward a healthy future.

🚨 Emergency Medical Update – Pyometra
Bonolata has been diagnosed with pyometra, a severe and life-threatening uterine infection in unspayed female cats. It causes pus buildup in the uterus and can be fatal if not treated immediately.
👉 Urgent spaying surgery is the only cure, which is why this is an emergency.

🐾 Help Rupa Fight FIP 🐾

Rupa is a rescued Bengal mixed-breed cat with an incredibly strong spirit. She was cruelly abandoned at Biral Bari—thrown inside a bag along with her kittens. Sadly, none of her kittens survived. Rupa did. 💔

After recovering, she became healthy, gentle, and ready for adoption. Her adoption post was shared, and we hoped her story would finally turn around. But recently, Rupa fell sick. Blood tests confirmed what we feared most—Rupa is FIP positive.

🦠 FIP is serious, but treatable with GS injections.
However, GS treatment is long-term and extremely expensive in Bangladesh, making it very difficult to manage alongside the care of other rescued cats.

With multiple animals under our care, we cannot continue this treatment alone. That’s why we’re reaching out for support.

🐾 Help Bonolata Heal After a Life-Threatening Attack 🐾

Bonolata is a brave little cat rescued from Banani DOHS after being attacked by dogs. She has visible bite wounds, her tongue is swollen from injury, her jaw is damaged, and some of her teeth are broken. She can’t eat on her own, so we’re giving her saline and keeping her under constant care.

The vet has confirmed through X-ray that her ribcage is also injured, which is why she’s struggling to breathe properly. We’re doing everything we can for her, but with many cats already under our care, the cost of her medicines, saline, and treatment is difficult for us to manage alone.

Meet Choco Choco, a sweet 3-year-old ginger mixed-breed cat with the softest heart and the cutest “bread-making” paws. 🍞🐱

She was rescued from Banashree and is now safe and cared for at our Biral Bari, AniRBan Trust. Despite her gentle nature and loving spirit, Choco Choco is bravely battling FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis): a serious but treatable condition with the right medication and care.

We’re doing everything we can to help her recover, but her treatment is costly. 💊💔

In loving memory of Rex — one of our first rescues, our brave boy, and our forever inspiration.

Rex’s story began on the quiet streets of DOHS, where a friend regularly reached out to feed a curious little kitten with bright eyes and a brave heart. From the very beginning, there was a bond — one born not out of rescue, but recognition. When tragedy struck and his siblings were attacked by dogs, Rex’s life hung in the balance. But fate intervened, and he was brought to safety — becoming one of the very first souls of what would soon grow into a loving shelter.

Rex was more than just one of the rescued; he became the face of the mission itself. His image graced the cover of the first media story that brought attention to the shelter’s work, a proud symbol of compassion and survival. To everyone who met him, Rex embodied what rescue truly means — the transformation from fear to trust, from loneliness to belonging.

In his final days, Rex showed the same courage he always had. He fought valiantly, his spirit unbroken even as his body grew weak. Those who knew him saw not suffering, but strength — a quiet, noble determination that reflected the love he had both given and received throughout his life.

🚫 A Gentle But Firm Reminder 🚫

We’ve recently been receiving messages and even unannounced visits from people wanting to leave their cats at our shelter. This is not how AniRBan Trust operates, and it’s deeply disappointing to face such situations.

AniRBan Trust exists to rescue injured, sick, and paralyzed cats, the ones who have nowhere else to go. We are not an animal drop-off center for personal pets or for those who can no longer keep their cats.

💔 Giving up a cat you’ve raised at home simply because you “can’t take care of it anymore” is not abandonment we can endorse.

Our shelter is already running at full capacity with rescued lives fighting to survive, and every space, meal, and medical care is precious.

🙏 We request everyone to please refrain from contacting us to give away your cats, and to never bring cats to our gates without prior permission.
Let’s act responsibly, true compassion means commitment.
