Welcome to Dhaka Commerce College, HSC Batch 2028 ! 🌿

Starting college is a big change, and we're glad you're here. Between classes and exams it's easy to forget there's a whole world outside the classroom. That's where we come in.

The Dhaka Commerce College Nature Study Club (DCCNSC) is a group of students who go on outings, take photos, run environmental campaigns, enter competitions and work on conservation projects. Beginners are very welcome. 🌱

‎World Rhino Day 🦏
‎
‎Thick skin that looks like armour, a horn made of nothing but keratin, and a weight that can cross two tonnes, yet the rhino survives on grass alone. It's one of the closest things we have to a living relic, and one of the most threatened.
‎
‎Poaching and shrinking habitats have pushed several rhino species to the edge of extinction, with the Javan and Sumatran rhinos now down to just a few dozen individuals left in the wild. But conservation works. The Indian rhino, once nearly wiped out, has slowly recovered through years of protection and effort, proof that the story doesn't have to end in loss.

‎Today, we remember why this giant matters, not just as a species, but as a keeper of the grasslands it calls home.

‎
‎ইতিহাসের স্পর্শ, ঐতিহ্যের গল্প আর প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্য সব মিলিয়ে দিনটি ছিল শেখা, দেখা ও স্মৃতিতে ধরে রাখার মতো এক অসাধারণ অভিজ্ঞতা।

‎ভ্রমণ শুধু নতুন জায়গা দেখায় না, আমাদের শিকড়, ঐতিহ্য ও চারপাশের পৃথিবীকে নতুনভাবে চিনতেও শেখায়।

‎আজ ঢাকা কমার্স কলেজ ক্যাম্পাসে পাখিদের জন্য তৈরি হলো আরও একটু আপন জায়গা।
‎
‎ঢাকা কমার্স কলেজ নেচার স্টাডি ক্লাবের উদ্যোগে ক্যাম্পাসের বিভিন্ন গাছে পাখিদের জন্য খাবার ও পানির পাত্র এবং নিরাপদ আশ্রয়ের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। আমাদের এই ছোট্ট উদ্যোগে পাশে ছিলেন ছিলেন প্রফেসর ড. কাজী ফয়েজ আহাম্মদ, অধ্যক্ষ (ভারপ্রাপ্ত) এবং উপাধ্যক্ষ, প্রশাসন, প্রফেসর আবু নাঈম মো. মোজাম্মেল হোসেন। এছাড়াও সাথে ছিলেন ঢাকা কমার্স কলেজ নেচার স্টাডি ক্লাবের মডারেটর জনাব অনুপম বিশ্বাস, সহকারী অধ্যাপক, ইংরেজি বিভাগ, হাশিম রেজা, প্রভাষক, বাংলা বিভাগ এবং ক্লাব প্রেসিডেন্ট ও সদস্যবৃন্দ।

‎প্রকৃতির সঙ্গে আমাদের সম্পর্কটা এমনই হোক—যেখানে আমাদের চারপাশের ছোট্ট প্রাণগুলোর জন্যও থাকে একটু যত্ন, একটু নিরাপদ আশ্রয়।
