This Ramadan, the MLIS Community Service Club had the privilege of supporting those in need within our community by distributing groceries and iftar meals. Through the generous donations raised across our school campus, we were able to reach families and individuals and share a small gesture of care during this blessed month. This initiative was made possible through the contribution of and collaboration with Project Better Life. We are truly grateful for their support and partnership in making this effort possible. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered. Your generosity allowed us to come together to spread kindness, compassion, and hope in our community 💚

We’re proud to share that the MLIS Community Service Club has successfully installed a Sanitary Pad Vending Machine in collaboration with ACI Limited and is located at the Girls’ Campus of Maple Leaf International School at House-81, Dhanmondi-12/A.

No girl should have to miss class, feel anxious, or struggle in silence because of something natural.This initiative aims to ensure that students have easy and immediate access to sanitary products during school hours — helping reduce discomfort, hesitation, and absenteeism while promoting confidence, dignity, and wellbeing.

A small step towards creating a more supportive and inclusive school environment for every girl🌸

The MLIS Community Service Club, in collaboration with the Nerd Community and Footsteps Organization, is urgently collecting funds to support the fire-affected families in Korail.

​Minimum Impact: A gift of 500 BDT provides a family of four with an essential
relief kit.

​Each Kit Includes:
​Rice (Chal) – 2 kg
​Lentils (Moshur Daal) – 0.5 kg
​Potatoes (Alu) – 2 kg

As temperatures begin to drop, many individuals in our wider community continue to face the winter months without adequate support. The MLIS Community Service Club is organizing a winter donation initiative to provide essential items for those in need and to promote a more equitable and compassionate response to the season .

This year, we are collaborating with Hope Bangladesh as our co-organizing partner. Hope Bangladesh leads “Share The Warmth,” an annual winter donation campaign now entering its fourth edition. Over the past three years, the organization has successfully collected and distributed thousands of winter essentials across Dhaka, Savar, and Gazipur , reaching some of the most vulnerable communities. Through this partnership, their established volunteer network and operational experience will help ensure that the donations collected through our drive are delivered efficiently and responsibly 🧣🧤

Items we are accepting:
• Clean winter clothing in good condition (no dirty or torn items) 🧥
• Stationery and basic school supplies ✏️📎
• Please note: books will not be accepted 🚫📚

Collection boxes are available in all buildings.
