On August 28, 2026, our executive panel at the BRAC University Electrical and Electronic Club (BUEEC) attended the Club Leadership Bootcamp 2026 at BCDM, Savar, organized by the Office of Co-curricular Activities (OCA), Student Life. The program centered on practical team building, organizational management, and inter-club collaboration across campus. It was a wonderful learning experience where valuable insights on leadership, conflict management, storytelling, & more was gained.
The executive panel also spent their time engaging in games, activities, &, of course, great food! Throughout the event, we were deeply honored to receive thoughtful guidance from Vice Chancellor Professor Syed Ferhat Anwar, PhD; Registrar Dr. David Dowland; and Head of Student Life Tahsina Rahman. Working alongside leaders from peer student organizations allowed us to exchange fresh ideas and address shared leadership challenges together. The session brought our executive team closer together while equipping us with valuable frameworks to enhance our upcoming club operations. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the OCA and Student Life for hosting such a meaningful initiative, and we look forward to putting these lessons into action for BUEEC.

Our hearts are with the families mourning the loss of their loved ones, and with every individual who has been injured or whose life has been deeply affected by this tragedy. We share in the sorrow of the affected communities and stand beside them in sincere solidarity as they begin the difficult journey toward healing and recovery. May those grieving find strength in one another, and may compassion, courage, and collective support bring comfort and hope in the days ahead.

The BSRM School of Engineering, BRAC University, in collaboration with the BRAC University Electrical and Electronic Club (BUEEC), recently concluded an incredible seminar on "Research in Integration of Deep Machine Learning in the Agriculture Sector and Sustainable Energy Development along with Industrial-Level Implementation" at the BRAC University Auditorium! We were truly privileged to host Professor GM Shafiullah and Professor Ferdous Sohel from Murdoch University, Australia. They shared fascinating insights into smart grids, renewable power, and real-world AI applications in agriculture and cybersecurity, alongside honest, practical guidance on preparing strong applications for Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) and securing scholarships.

A heartfelt thank you to Professor Shafiullah, Professor Sohel, our faculty, and every student who joined us and brought so much energy to the Q&A session! We hope the ideas and advice shared during the event encourage you to take that next step in your own research journey. Yes, you guessed it; BRACU Club Wars is officially underway. Representing us in this electrifying battle for supremacy are the pride and joy of the BRAC University Electrical and Electronic Club (BUEEC), the best that our club has to offer.

For days, they have toiled, sweat and bled, pushing past all physical limits. Now it has come time for them to show the fruits of their labor and take the arena by storm.

This year, our champions are stepping onto the battlefield across Table Tennis, Badminton, and Carrom Singles! And they’re already making their mark — our Carrom Singles representative has fought their way into the Quarter-Finals!

The BRAC University Electrical and Electronic Club (BUEEC) hosted its Summer 2026 Fresher Orientation, Automatize, on the wonderful evening on 19th of July. The event marked as a special chapter for all the newcomers of this semester into the club; an entry that was filled with fun, laughter and great memories.

The program began with BUEEC paying its homage to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and remembering the valiant efforts of the students on its two-year anniversary of the July’24 Anti-Discriminatory Movement. Following, the event rolled on with the introduction of the Governing Panel and the Directorial body; with speeches delivered in order for a better introduction for the newcomers.

Alongside, the event hosted wonderful musical performances from BUEEC members; singing and dancing to the tunes that entertained all of our guests for the day. The cultural performances stood as a symbol of the talents inside the club that enhanced the spirit of the occasion. Moreover, the fun went on with an engaging game of Quiz being played by all our members- our top achievers received gifts! Such a competitive atmosphere created such a memorable experience.

Automatize Summer’26 appeared to be more than an orientation event. It served as an opportunity to introduce our club, strengthen connections and welcome a new generation of aspiring engineers into the BUEEC community. BUEEC extends its sincere gratitude to every participant, volunteer, performer and speaker whose dedication and hard work contributed to the success of this event. Your commitment and enthusiasm continue to shape the strength and legacy of BUEEC.

When the public university campuses were forcibly evacuated, private university students defiantly stepped up against years of injustice. Right at the epicenter of this fierce mobilization were students of BRAC University. Standing firm at the heart of Badda, BRACU students braved brutal crackdowns, stood firm against tyranny and gunfire. The unyielding courage from the private university students nationwide shattered the status quo and catalyzed a turning point in the anti-discrimination mass movement.

Tragically, several brave souls laid down their lives on this fateful day. Today, on the 18th of July 2026 - the BRAC University Electrical and Electronic Club (BUEEC), alongside the entire nation, commemorates the brave souls with their supreme sacrifices against abuse and cruelty.

This day stands as a powerful testament to all communities and all private universities students who refused to stay silent - a permanent symbol of unity and the relentless fight against oppression.
