Earlier this year, Mahiat was among 38 Young South Asian Leaders (YSALI) invited to attend a Workshop in the USA on American Excellence in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. The workshop was jointly hosted by the CARS at UNO and EWC, fully funded by the U.S. Department of State.

During the 2-week workshop, Mahiat got to visit and learn from industry leading organizations and experts across Omaha, Nebraska and Washington, D.C. In addition, he represented Bangladesh and shared about our work at Impact Diplomats to a diverse cohort of youth leaders from Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, along with his Bangladeshi colleagues from YSALI.

"Sincere Intentions Travel the World!" 🌐

This Thursday, our Founder, Mahiat Shan, was privileged to be one of the student presenters who shared their stories in the Department of Marketing & International Business's (DMIB) inaugural Annual Magazine 2025-26 unveiling ceremony, convened by the department Chair, North South University.

Mahiat, who authored in the Magazine and also contributed to its illustrations and Logo design, went on stage to share his journey of starting a small social impact project that led to several global feats, leading up to his recent selection as a Global Youth Ambassador at Theirworld.

The event was graced with the presence of the honorable Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer, Dean of SBE, and the distinguished Faculties and Teaching Assistants of DMIB. It concluded with the honorable VC recognizing the intuitive publications and acknowledging the various accomplishments of all guests.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the DMIB Chairperson, Dr. Khandker Nahin Mamun, who pioneered this Magazine and event, and to our beloved Faculty Advisor, Dr. Tamhid Ul Islam, who was our guidance and support throughout!
