A proud moment for Share Your Closet!

We are incredibly excited to share that our Founder, Reesha Ahmed, will be speaking at the Millennium Fellowship Global Town Hall 2026, alongside an inspiring lineup of young leaders, changemakers, and global voices.

As a Millennium Fellow and Campus Director at North South University, Reesha will be representing NSU, Bangladesh, and Share Your Closet on a global stage — an incredible opportunity to amplify our mission and connect with changemakers working to create a more equitable world.

We also want to extend our warmest congratulations to all the Millennium Fellows from Bangladesh selected for the Class of 2026. 🇧🇩
We’re so proud to see Bangladeshi youth represented in this global community of changemakers!

Access to basic medical care can change a person’s life.

On 5 August 2026, Share Your Closet organized a health camp at Godown Slum from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. With the generous support of our sponsor, Arnab Saha, and the guidance of Dr. Sajjad Hossain from DMCH, we were able to provide free health checkups, consultations, and prescriptions to members of the community.

Ten volunteers spent two hours serving as many people as possible, including a young boy with a congenital heart defect who needed special care.

When we share our resources and look out for each other, our entire community grows stronger. Real change happens when we choose to care for one another.

In the char (river island) communities of Chattogram and Bandarban, countless families have lost their homes, belongings, and sources of income due to severe flooding and prolonged waterlogging. Many of these households were already living in poverty, making this disaster even more devastating.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Share Your Closet raised BDT 21,000, allowing us to provide BDT 1,000 in emergency cash assistance to 21 flood-affected families. While this is only a small contribution, it gives families the flexibility to purchase the essentials they need most during this difficult time.

Our team is currently on the ground, reaching affected communities and working to support families as they begin the long journey of recovery.

The need, however, is far greater than what we’ve been able to provide so far. If you would like to stand with these families and help them rebuild their lives, we invite you to support this initiative through a donation.

Severe flooding has devastated multiple districts across the country, leaving thousands of families without food, clean water, shelter, and other basic necessities.

Our volunteers on the ground will deliver emergency food and essential survival supplies to flood-affected communities. But we can’t do it without your support.
Help them survive. Please donate now. Your contribution will go directly toward providing immediate relief to those who need it most. Every donation, no matter the amount, can help save lives.

Together, let’s stand with the people of Bangladesh.

Periods should never stand in the way of a girl’s education, confidence, or dreams.

We were honored to conduct a menstrual hygiene awareness session with 50 incredible young girls at Adarsha Islami Mission Mohila Kamil Madrasah. Through open conversations, a practical demonstration, and evidence-based menstrual health education, we’re helping break the stigma—one conversation at a time.

Each participant received a menstrual hygiene kit with sanitary pads, soap, oral saline (ORS), a heating bag, a menstrual health guide, and a scrunchie to support what they learned.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous donors, our dedicated team members, and Adarsha Islami Mission Mohila Kamil Madrasah for believing that every girl deserves knowledge, dignity, and access to menstrual health. Together, we’re creating a future where no girl feels ashamed of her period. Get in touch with us to support our initiatives. ❤️

IMPORTANT: Our Donation Deadline Has Been Extended to 20 June to Direct Your Support to More Girls in Need.

Imagine the fear and anxiety a young girl feels every month in class, terrified to move because she lacks the supplies to manage her period safely. Another girl, burdened by the same struggle, stays home, losing education. Some use unsafe materials, risking their health. This is period poverty, robbing girls of health, confidence, and education.

With just 500 taka, you can provide a girl with six months of sanitary kits, including pads, soap, heating support, and a Bangla menstrual health guide. This gift empowers her to feel safe, stay in school, and live with dignity.

Don’t let her face this challenge alone. Your donation can make a profound difference.
