Breaking Boundaries in Global Supply Chain

The 2nd Seminar of “Operation Excellence: Supply Chain beyond Borders” series was an inspiring journey of knowledge and experience. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Kanta Sharmin, enlightened us with her profound insights into the global supply chain, sharing real-life examples that bridged theory with practice.

We are deeply grateful to our honorable Chairman, Dr. Mohammad Thoufuqul Islam Sir, and our respected course teacher, Md. Nazmus Sakib Sir, for their gracious presence and guidance. A special note of thanks to our distinguished guest, Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman Sir, Associate Professor at the University of Lincoln, UK. whose participation made the session even more impactful.

For the 28th Batch, this seminar was not just a session, it was a step forward toward excellence and beyond borders.

The first session of our Operations Management series, "𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧", featured an insightful talk by Dr. Kanta Sharmin Ma'am, Regional Operations Leader at Carter’s Global Sourcing and former Walmart professional.

Initiated by our course teacher Nazmus Sakib Sir and organized by MGT-28th (Section A), the session explored how global sourcing leaders leverage forecasting to optimize supply chains, manage risks, and drive operational success.

From data-driven tools to real-world applications, the discussion provided valuable perspectives on the evolving role of forecasting in international trade. A truly enriching experience that bridged academic learning with global industry practices.

From Idea to Reality: A Roadmap for Entrepreneurs

The Management 28th Batch successfully organized an insightful seminar titled "From Idea to Reality: A Roadmap for Entrepreneurs" today at Dr. Abdullah Faroque Conference Hall, University of Dhaka.

The session featured Mr. Saif Rashid, Founder & CEO of Apon Bazaar, and Mr. Md. Fuad Shahriar, Deputy Head of RMG Unit, The Premier Bank PLC. as keynote speakers, who shared their invaluable experiences and guidance on transforming ideas into successful ventures. Their discussions provided deep insights into the entrepreneurial journey, covering challenges, strategies, and success stories.

The seminar was highly interactive, with a dynamic Q&A session that allowed students to engage directly with the speakers, gaining practical knowledge and inspiration. The event proved to be an excellent opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to learn from industry experts and refine their vision for the future.
