A Joyous Celebration of 55 Years of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh !
SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh proudly celebrated its 55th Foundation Day, marking a remarkable journey of love, care, protection, and commitment to children, young people, and families across the country.
The celebration was graced by the honorable presence of Prof. Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, MP, Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare and Women & Children Affairs, as Chief Guest, whose participation added great significance to the occasion. We were also honored by the presence of Ms. Farzana Sharmin, MP, Hon’ble State Minister for Social Welfare, as Special Guest, making the event even more memorable.
A special highlight of the day was the presence of Barrister Zaima Rahman whose warmth, kindness, and cheerful interaction brought immense joy to the children. Her visit to SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh and the quality time she spent with the children created beautiful memories and filled the day with happiness.
As part of the celebration, the distinguished guests took part in a village tour, where they experienced the caring, family-like environment of SOS Children’s Village Dhaka. A meaningful tree plantation activity was also organized, symbolizing growth, hope, and a greener future for children and the community. The event concluded with a vibrant cultural ceremony, where children showcased their talents through joyful performances.
The day was filled with inspiration, celebration, and renewed commitment to our mission: ensuring that every child grows up with love, respect, security, and hope.
“As we celebrate 55 years of dedicated service, SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh remains committed to building brighter futures for children and strengthening families and communities,” expressed by Dr. Md. Enamul Haque, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh.
