RIBA International Awards for Excellence 2026 | Celebrating Our Alumni

ArcAAB is delighted to celebrate the international recognition of two projects from Bangladesh at the RIBA International Awards for Excellence 2026, where they have been selected among just 34 outstanding projects from across the world.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ar. Saiqa Iqbal Meghna, ArcAAB alumnus, and the team of Studio Morphogenesis Ltd. for the recognition of the Zebun Nessa Mosque, Savar. The project has been praised for its sensitive architectural response that brings together spirituality, community engagement, and inclusivity within an industrial setting. Through a thoughtful design process rooted in dialogue and human-centered values, the mosque stands as a meaningful example of architecture serving both people and place.

We also congratulate WOHA and BRAC University on the recognition of the BRAC University Campus, Dhaka. Celebrated for its climate-responsive and socially integrated design, the project demonstrates how educational architecture can respond innovatively to the challenges of urbanization, sustainability, and community building.
