The MIST Optimist Club proudly congratulates three distinguished alumni of the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE), Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), from the IPE 5 batch, who have embarked on their PhD journeys at internationally renowned universities.

Having once walked the halls of MIST as students and later contributed to the Department as Lecturers, their journeys reflect a remarkable progression from students of IPE to educators, researchers, and scholars on the global stage.

The July Uprising stands as a timeless symbol of courage, resilience, and the unwavering spirit of the people of Bangladesh. It reminds us that every generation carries the responsibility to protect justice, uphold truth, and strengthen the ideals upon which our nation stands.

Today, MIST OPTIMIST CLUB proudly pays tribute to the individuals whose courage, determination, and sacrifice continue to inspire the nation. Their legacy lives on in every voice raised for justice and every step taken toward a brighter Bangladesh.

To the heroes we remember.
To the values we uphold.
To the future we continue to build.

In Memoriam | 2024–2026

Two years have passed, yet the pain of this loss remains as profound as ever.

On this day in 2024, Bangladesh lost one of its bravest sons. A promising young student, a dreamer, a friend, and a patriot whose life was cut short while standing for the ideals he believed in. His sacrifice became a part of our nation's history, and his memory continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew him and those inspired by his courage.

Shykh Aashabul Yamin, a student of MIST, gave his life during the July Uprising in pursuit of a just, democratic, and better Bangladesh. Though his journey ended far too soon, the values he stood for courage, justice, and unwavering conviction continue to guide and inspire us.

Today, MIST OptiMist Club stands in remembrance and solidarity with the nation as we honor his life and legacy. We remember not only the sacrifice he made but also the future he dreamed of a future built on hope, fairness, and opportunity for all.

As we reflect on this solemn day, we pay our deepest respects to a son of Bangladesh whose courage transcends time. His sacrifice will never be forgotten, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
