Yesterday, JnUITS in collaboration with Eastern Bank PLC (EBL), successfully hosted an engaging and timely seminar on Financial Literacy in the Era of IT.
The enthusiasm was evident from the very beginning, with students actively participating in the Spot Bank Account Opening Session prior to the main event.

The seminar commenced with an impactful opening address by our esteemed Moderator and Chairman of the CSE Department, Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Layek. He highlighted the critical intersection of Digital Finance, Privacy, and Cybersecurity, emphasizing why financial literacy has become an essential skill in the modern era.

The highlight of the day was the keynote session conducted by Md. Raihan Sultan (FAVP & Deputy Head of Financial Literacy, EBL). Moving beyond conventional corporate presentations, he delivered an interactive and narrative driven session that resonated deeply with the audience.
By sharing his Personal Journey, his passion for perfumes, and his transition from university life to the banking sector, he demonstrated how Financial Literacy plays a vital role in both personal and professional growth.

The excitement continued with a Financial Literacy Quiz that tested the knowledge and analytical thinking of the participants. The competition concluded with Certificates being awarded to the Top Three Performers, marking a fitting end to an intellectually enriching event.
