আজ ১লা মে, আন্তর্জাতিক শ্রমিক দিবস। যারা রোদে পুড়ে, ঘামে ভিজে এই দেশটাকে বাঁচিয়ে রাখছেন প্রতিদিন, তাদের প্রতি জগন্নাথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় আইটি সোসাইটির পক্ষ থেকে জানাই গভীর শ্রদ্ধা।

আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, প্রযুক্তি তখনই অর্থবহ যখন সে মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ায়। প্রতিটি শ্রম সম্মানিত হোক, প্রতিটি মানুষ তার ন্যায্য প্রাপ্যটুকু পাক।

Our recent General Meeting on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 was all about growth, structure, and the future of tech at Jagannath University! From refining our organizational hierarchy to discussing the upcoming 𝐖𝐞𝐛 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 project, we are streamlining how we work and lead.

The wait is over! We are excited to announce our 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞. This will be the central hub for all members to register, track progress, and stay updated, whether they are JnUITS members, alumni, or new applicants. Make sure you're ready to sign up and join the digital transformation.

The meeting introduced plans for upcoming team management and role distributions, alongside a new promotion cycle designed to reward active members with progression opportunities. Leadership also reaffirmed the society’s commitment to a transparent, democratic, and professional environment, stressing that members should focus on gaining meaningful impact and skills rather than just seeking certificates.

It’s not just about certificates, it’s about 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭. Let’s build the future of IT together.

We successfully hosted Speakathon v1.0 Grand Final Round, followed by an insightful session on “Mastering the Art of Digital Communication” with our keynote speaker Md Abdul Quayyum, Head of Communications, UNDP Bangladesh.

To wrap up the day, our dynamic JnUITS team came together for a refreshing meeting at Sultan’s Dine, Ray Shaheb Bazar, sharing ideas, laughter, and plans for what’s next.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to all the 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 & 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 of Speakathon v1.0 by JnUITS!

We are thrilled to announce that our event, Speakathon v1.0, has been successfully completed! Starting from 19 participants in the online round, we narrowed it down to 6 outstanding speakers who competed in the onsite round, held grandly at the CSE Department VC Room.

After an incredible battle of words, confidence, and brilliance, here are our winners:

𝘼 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙁𝙪𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮

Today’s special seminar on 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 brought more people than we had seats for and seeing our own organizers sit on the floor just to make space for everyone made it a moment we’ll remember for a long time.

We were deeply honored to welcome

Today, on March 31, 2026, JnUITS family had the distinct honour of meeting and exchanging greetings with our newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Rais Uddin Sir, at the VC's Conference Room.

During this fruitful discussion, the Honourable Vice-Chancellor emphasized the undeniable importance of Information Technology in the modern world. He encouraged our students to become more skilled and technically proficient, highlighting that collective effort is the key to advancing our university toward a brighter future.

He specifically advised us to work with a solid and structured action plan for the university's development and graciously assured his full support for all our upcoming IT initiatives.
