Using poetry as a form of expression has multiple outcomes. Both classes have focused on using poetry as a creative form of expression and the students delivered it through their creative poem writings in group activities. Poems and poets accross different cultures were discussed in classes. History of the American poetry was discussed in length to emphasize the American culture.
Here the learners learn how to communicate thoughts, feelings and experience creativity, understand deeper meanings, themes and creativity.
Here the learners create their own poems, perform Poetry through recitation or spoken words and experiments with words, structure and emotions.

Here the learners gain generating original ideas using imagination, analyzing tone, theme, express thoughts clearly and creativity, sharing personal ideas, collaboration skills, improving reading and writing.
