World Linkup marks a major milestone on the global stage! 🌍✨

We are thrilled to share that our "Waste-to-Wealth" research has received international recognition at two prestigious scientific congresses in Türkiye and Spain. These achievements validate our mission to turn environmental challenges into sustainable economic opportunities.

Our Global Contributions:

✅ 9th International Mediterranean Scientific Research Congress (Adana, Türkiye): We presented our "Circular Economy Framework," demonstrating how agricultural waste can be transformed into high-value industrial feedstock to empower smallholder farmers.

In this video, World Linkup showcases our "Waste-to-Wealth" model - a data-driven, community-led solution designed to solve the waste management crisis in cities like Dhaka. By moving away from the traditional "collect and dump" method, we are implementing a "Circular Metabolism" that treats every fruit peel and seed as a valuable industrial resource.
How it works:
* Source Segregation: Moving from inefficient polybags to IoT-enabled precision and smart sorting.
* Green Extraction: Refining organic waste into high-value industrial oils and powders in our local Refinery Hubs.
* Social Impact: A 50/50 profit-sharing model that empowers urban households and rural farmers.
* Global Recognition: Our initiative and short film have been officially selected by UN-Habitat for presentation at the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Azerbaijan.

At the heart of the "Waste to Wealth" model, we find the ultimate connection: turning what was once discarded into a catalyst for change. By linking global social enterprises, we transform environmental challenges into economic opportunities that ripple through communities.

Alhamdulillah.
We are delighted and proud to announce that our initiative “Waste to Wealth” has been officially selected by UN-Habitat for the World Urban Forum 13, in two prestigious categories: Practices Hub and Urban Cinema.
This globally renowned event will take place from 17–22 May 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan. We will have the honor of presenting our project in front of approximately 25,000 participants, including policymakers, presidents, ministers, mayors, experts, and development leaders from 171 countries.
This is the first time a Bangladeshi initiative has been selected in both Practices Hub and Urban Cinema categories at this UN platform. Our World Linkup team of 16 members will participate in the forum, and UN-Habitat has provided special complimentary visas for the entire team.
We firmly believe that on this important international platform, Bangladesh’s innovative Circular Economy model will gain global recognition and pave the way for its implementation on a much larger scale in the future.

নতুন বছরের এই শুরুতে আসুন আমরা শুধু নতুন পোশাকেই নয়, নতুন চিন্তাতেও নিজেদের সাজাই।

পহেলা বৈশাখ মানেই নতুন আশা, নতুন সম্ভাবনা। আর Waste to Wealth আমাদের শেখায়—যা আমরা ফেলে দেই, সেটাই হতে পারে কারো জীবনের নতুন আয়ের উৎস।

🍃 প্লাস্টিক, কাপড়, কাগজ—এই “অপ্রয়োজনীয়” জিনিসগুলোই হতে পারে নতুন পণ্য🌍 পরিবেশ রক্ষা + অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়ন—একসাথে সম্ভব👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 দরিদ্র পরিবারের জন্য নতুন আয়ের সুযোগ

এই নববর্ষে আমাদের অঙ্গীকার হোক:
অপচয় কমাবো,
পুনর্ব্যবহার বাড়াবো,

প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলের মানুষরা খুব পরিশ্রমী হওয়া সত্ত্বেও তাদের উৎপাদিত ফসলের সঠিক দাম না পাওয়ায় তারা ঋণচক্রে আটকে আছে। একেকটি গ্রামে গড়ে ৬০-৮০ লক্ষ টাকার ঋণ থাকছে, এবং অনেককে ৮-১০ বছর ধরে কিস্তি শোধ করতে হচ্ছে। অথচ একেকটি গ্রামে সার্কুলার মডেলে গড়ে ৫-৬ কোটি টাকার পণ্য নষ্ট হয়ে যাচ্ছে।

সমস্যা উৎপাদনে নয়, সমস্যা হলো মূল্য, বাজার ও পণ্যের বৈচিত্র্যে। কৃষক পেপে বিক্রি করতে পারে, কিন্তু পাতা, মূল, বিচি, খোসা নষ্ট হয়ে যায়। অথচ বিদেশে এগুলোই মূল্যবান কাঁচামাল। ধানের চেয়ে ধানের খোসা ও খড়কুটোর মূল্য বেশি। লেবুর চেয়ে লেবুর বিচির তেলের দাম বেশি। কাঁঠালের চেয়ে কাঁঠালের আঠার দাম বেশি।

“Waste to Wealth” মডেলে আমরা এই নষ্ট হওয়া পণ্য সংগ্রহ করে প্রক্রিয়াজাত করে আন্তর্জাতিক বাজারে বিক্রি করছি। লক্ষ্য হলো প্রতি পরিবারকে মাসে অতিরিক্ত ৩০-৪০ হাজার টাকা আয় নিশ্চিত করা, যাতে তারা ১-২ বছরের মধ্যেই ঋণমুক্ত হতে পারে। আমরা চাই গ্রামের মানুষ কিস্তির ভয় নিয়ে নয়, স্বপ্ন নিয়ে বাঁচুক।

বর্জ্য যেন আর নষ্ট না হয়, সম্পদে পরিণত হোক।
ঋণগ্রস্ত গ্রাম যেন বৈশ্বিক বাজারের অংশীদার হয়।

এটি ডোনেশনভিত্তিক সমাধান নয়, এটি মর্যাদাভিত্তিক আয় ও গ্লোবাল মার্কেটে সংযুক্তির একটি বাস্তবসম্মত উদ্যোগ।
