Spring 2026 — Carrying the Legacy Forward

Every new chapter brings a new team, but the values, memories, and legacy built over time remain at the heart of the Career Development Club.

With great pride, we present the Executive Team of CDC for Spring 2026. As we step forward, our goal is not to start from scratch, but to carry forward everything that has made CDC what it is today — the dedication, teamwork, learning, and spirit of creating something meaningful.

We are deeply honored to have the support and guidance of Dr. Homeyra Akter ma'am as the Convener, Asma Mariam ma'am as the Co-Convener, and Md. Mubtasim Fuad as a Member of the Career Development Club. Their guidance will be an integral part of this journey as we strive to take CDC to greater heights.

A heartfelt congratulations to our new presidential duo, Labiba Akram Pritha and Sajid Shahan Rahman. We wish them all the very best as they take on this responsibility and lead CDC into its next chapter with dedication, vision, and teamwork.

The legacy has been built with countless efforts, and now it is our responsibility to preserve it, strengthen it, and add something of our own to it.

A New Era Begins: Recruitment & Leadership Transition

The Career Development Club embarked on its newest chapter with a series of deliberate and meaningful initiatives, each designed to cultivate leadership and advance professional development among its members.

The season commenced with the Club Introduction Program, offering members an in-depth look at the club’s mission, vision, and strategic direction. This was followed by a thorough Viva Selection Round, conducted to identify individuals of exceptional dedication and capability for roles within the Executive Committee.

On August 13, 2026, the newly formed Executive Committee was formally announced in the distinguished presence of Prof. Dr. Nasima Begum, Head of the Department, Dr. Homeyra Akter, Convener, Asma Mariam, Co-Convener, and Md. Mubtasim Fuad, Member of the Career Development Club. The occasion was further graced by a sincere and heartfelt farewell to the outgoing President, a moment that honored the past while embracing the future.

The ceremony drew to a close with a cake-cutting, a gesture that stood as a symbol of unity, fresh beginnings, and a collective dedication to excellence.

With its first chapter now complete, the Career Development Club moves forward with renewed purpose, unwavering vision, and a steadfast commitment to meaningful and lasting growth.

When we think of the journey of the Career Development Club (CDC), one name that will always remain close to our hearts is Tahira Ma’am.

Under her guidance, CDC flourished, achieved new milestones, and became more than just a club—it became a family. Ma’am always cared for us, supported us in every positive initiative, and stood beside us through every challenge. Her decisions were always driven by one simple goal: what was best for the club and its members.

For us, she was not only a mentor but also a guardian, an inspiration, and truly a gem of the CDC family. Her encouragement, kindness, and unwavering support have shaped countless memories that we will cherish forever.

On this July Mass Uprising Day, the Career Development Club (CDC) stands in solemn remembrance of the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of those who raised their voices for justice, democracy, and the rights of the people.
We also mourn the lives lost and pay our deepest respects to the martyrs whose sacrifices will forever remain a source of inspiration for the nation.

The Career Development Club (CDC) is inviting enthusiastic and responsible students from Batch 58 to join the Spring 2026 Committee and represent their batch.

We are looking for individuals who are ready to take responsibility, communicate effectively, and contribute to the growth of both their batch and the club. You do not need to be perfect—you only need dedication, integrity, and the willingness to learn, lead, and work as part of a team.

What We Are Looking For:

Effective Communication
Act as the primary communication bridge between Batch 58 and the Career Development Club.

Technical and Creative Skills
Have basic working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel, along with a creative mindset for designing and promotional activities.

Integrity and Commitment
Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, punctuality, dedication, and commitment toward assigned duties.

Leadership and Teamwork

Maybe some chapters end only so they can be remembered better.

The CDC Family had an amazing time together today, filled with laughter, endless conversations, shared memories, and moments we'll look back on with a smile. Some days remind us how special the people around us are, and today was definitely one of those days.

A special moment of the evening was presenting a crest to our beloved Convenor, Tahira Alam. Titles may change, but for us, she will always remain our Forever Convenor. Her contribution to CDC is truly irreplaceable, and our story would never be complete without her.

Today was also a bittersweet one, as we bid farewell to our President, Zafrin Kaisar Orin. Her dedication, leadership, and countless contributions have left a lasting mark on CDC. While goodbyes are never easy, we are grateful for everything she has given to this family and wish her nothing but success in the journey ahead.

Here's to the memories we've made, the people who made them special, and the chapters that are still waiting to be written. ✨
