Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation sincerely appreciates the generous support of Standard Chartered Bangladesh for standing beside thalassemia patients through voluntary blood donation.

Recently, Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation and Standard Chartered Bangladesh jointly organized a day-long voluntary blood donation program. Employees of the Bank enthusiastically participated in the initiative by donating blood and learning about thalassemia and its prevention.

Thalassemia patients depend on regular blood transfusions throughout their lives for survival. We therefore encourage corporate organizations like Standard Chartered Bangladesh to continue supporting thalassemia patients through voluntary blood donation and inspire others to join this life-saving cause.

Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation proudly announces the signing of an MoU with Babylon Group to conduct regular blood donation campaigns. This collaboration will play a significant role in ensuring a continuous supply of blood for thalassemia patients.

The agreement was signed by SM Emdadul Islam, Director, Babylon Group, and Prof. Dr. Syeda Masooma Rahman, Vice-Chairman, Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, on behalf of their respective organizations.

Recently, a delegation from Babylon Group also visited Thalassemia Foundation Hospital and spent time with thalassemia patients, gifting color pencils as a gesture of care and encouragement. The visiting delegation of Babylon Group included Rubaet Bin Aziz, Group General Manager (HR, Admin & Compliance), Md. Mahmud Hossain, Assistant General Manager (HR & Compliance) and Rumana Akter Assistant Manager (HR).

One bag of blood can be a lifeline for a thalassemia patient. The members of Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel have stood beside our patients in their fight for survival through voluntary blood donation. On behalf of thalassemia patients, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your noble initiative and humanitarian support.

Recently, a voluntary blood donation program was jointly organized by Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation and Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel. During the event, the hotel members enthusiastically donated blood and gained basic awareness about thalassemia and its prevention.

The employees of Anko Sourcing came together in a remarkable act of humanity by donating blood for our thalassemia patients. Throughout the day-long campaign, employees from different departments enthusiastically participated and many of them donated blood for the very first time.

Alongside the blood donation program, Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation also organized an awareness session on thalassemia for the Anko Sourcing team. Through the session, participants gained valuable insights into thalassemia, its prevention, and the importance of regular voluntary blood donation.

Every drop of blood can give a thalassemia patient another chance at life. We encourage individuals and corporate organizations to come forward, donate blood regularly, and stand beside thalassemia patients in their ongoing battle for survival.
