August 5, 2024, will forever be etched in our history as the definitive climax of the youth-led July Uprising. It was the historic day that marked the complete collapse of a 15-year autocratic government and gave birth to a new Bangladesh.

"36th July" wasn't just a date, it was a powerful symbol of psychological and political defiance. Our citizens refused to let the calendar transition into August until justice was served. August 1 became July 32, August 2 became July 33, counting all the way to July 36, when the voice of the people finally triumphed!

As we look back, we honor the incredible bravery of our students and citizens who sacrificed everything for our freedom and democratic rights. May we never forget the spirit of the July Uprising.

Today we remember and pay tribute to Farhan Faiyaaz, a founding member and Former Vice President (Administrative) of DRMC Youth Club and a dedicated student of Dhaka Residential Model College. He was killed during the July Revolution on 2024, and became a symbol of courage, and a voice for those who could not speak for themselves.

Farhan’s determination for justice and truth was a reflection of the spirit of a generation, which would not remain mute against oppression. His courage and selfless sacrifice inspired countless others to stand strong, showing that one courageous voice can spark hope in the hearts of many.

His life was cut short but his legacy lives on with every cry for freedom, every search for justice. Farhan Faiyaaz will forever be in our hearts and minds, inspiring us to stand for truth, to fight for justice, and to carry forward the legacy of the July Revolution.
