Sputniks Astronomical Society

Sputniks Astronomical Society is a non-profit Astronomy-based educational platform. It’s a youth organisation run or managed by students. It’s main purpose is to promote Astronomy through different methods specially by organizing competitive events which can play a good role in making the learning process interesting and spreading knowledge. Sputniks Astronomical Society started it’s journey on October 1, 2020. It’s an initiative, taken by our Founder-President Mir Lihan Ahmad followed by our Co-founder Ramisha Fariha Rummon (Vice President). In this point we also offer honorable mention to our Chief Advisor Wasee Ahmed and the General Secretary of our society Nafiz Ahmed Niloy for their valuable contribution. Also special thanks to Mahiyat Sammo (Head of Graphics Designing) and Ahmmed Mahir (Head of Video Editing) for being with us from the beginning.
