Reaching warmth to Rangamati was never meant to be easy and it never was.
This winter, Project Ushnota 2026 successfully delivered support to nearly 400 people across 8 remote unions of Rangamati, areas so deep and disconnected that humanitarian assistance rarely reaches them. What began as an uncertain idea took shape through months of disciplined effort, fund mobilization, participant selection, transparent listing, criteria compliance, monitoring, logistics planning, procurement, multi-stage transportation, and last-mile delivery by bus, truck, and boat. Each step required precision, accountability, and care.
Working in a politically sensitive region, we obtained permissions from multiple authorities, ensured team safety, Concents and maintained full financial transparency because trust is as vital as aid itself. As a non-ethnic organization operating within ethnic communities, we moved forward with respect, responsibility, and collaboration. Last year, we reached 250 people. This year, we reached around 500. It is still not enough, but it is meaningful progress.
We remain deeply grateful to Bivayon Chakma Dada, whose guidance, coordination, and tireless support made it possible to arrange every step of this complex operation with care and dignity. Project Ushnota stands as a reminder that impactful humanitarian work is built not overnight, but through persistence, integrity, and collective commitment. With continued support, we move closer to our vision: no community left unseen.
