Bangladesh Tamak Birodhi Jote (The Bangladesh Anti Tobacco Alliance) BATA founded in October 9, 1999. BATA is strong civil society platform for to***co control, in which about 700 organizations are working together.

Bangladesh Anti To***co Alliance-BATA is a well-built civil society network across the country in Bangladesh that includes about seven hundred local, regional and national organizations. BATA also recognized internationally and received World No To***co Award in 2001 from World Health Organization. BATA coordinator Mr. Saifuddin Ahmed also received World No To***co Day Award from WHO in 2006. http
