Some businesses are built on ideas. The strongest ones are built on trust.
JCI Dhaka Founders recently visited NerdDevs as part of Host the Founders—an initiative designed to bring our members closer to the real stories behind inspiring businesses and the people who build them.
The session was attended by our 2026 Local President, Afshana Rahman, alongside our respected Past Presidents, Board Members, and Members, making the gathering even more meaningful and engaging.
The journey of NerdDevs began long before the company itself.
Md. Sohel Rana, Delwar Hossain, and Ferdous Ahmed studied together at RUET, later pursued careers in different organizations, and eventually came back together to transform a shared ambition into a business.
More than a decade later, their partnership remains strong, and NerdDevs has grown into a thriving organization with a team of over 25 professionals.
Their story challenged one of the most common assumptions in business—that partnerships are destined to become complicated. NerdDevs demonstrated that partnerships can endure when founders establish trust, respect one another’s strengths, communicate openly, and take clear ownership of their responsibilities.
The session also offered valuable insights into building beyond client services. By developing SaaS products alongside serving global clients, NerdDevs is creating intellectual property and long-term value of its own.
Another powerful takeaway was their approach to client support. Great service is not defined only by technical delivery; it is strengthened by empathy, responsiveness, and a genuine understanding of the client’s challenges.
Above all, their journey highlighted the importance of culture. A company grows sustainably when its people feel connected to the vision and are given the environment to grow together.
