For Serving the People Our moto is to serve the needy and vulnerable populations by implementing a wide range of humanitarian and development programs.

SHEBA MANAB KALLYAN KENDRA (SMKK) is a non-profit, non-political humanitarian development organization working in Bangladesh since January 1996. These programs include Agriculture & Sustainable Livelihood, Climate Change, Resilient, Emergency Response & Recovery, Rehabilitation, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Education, Health & Nutrition, Women Empowerment, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH).

Capacity Development Programs, Vocational Training and Knowledge Management events are significantly important programs. We give emphasize Peoples with Disability, Ethnic & Minority Groups. We have been working in different agro-ecological zones in Bangladesh.

PMU Visit to Galachipa, Patuakhali, Barishal; under the Nagorikata: SCEGE-CVC Project

The PMU team met with members of different community groups to hear their experiences and feedback. Participants shared how the project has improved their access to government services, strengthened livelihood opportunities, and increased awareness of civic rights and responsibilities.

Funded by the Embassy of Switzerland, Global Affairs Canada (GAC), and the European Union (EU), with support from FMA-GFA.

🌙🤝 Qurbani Program 2026 – Sharing the Blessings of Eid 🤝🌙

Alhamdulillah!

With the generous support of Muslim Charity, SHEBA MANAB KALLYAN KENDRA (SMKK) successfully implemented the Qurbani Program 2026, bringing the spirit of Eid-ul-Adha to vulnerable communities across Bangladesh.

Through this initiative, Qurbani meat was distributed among underprivileged families, orphanages, madrasas, and disadvantaged individuals, enabling them to celebrate Eid with dignity and joy. The program aimed to ensure that the blessings of this sacred occasion reached those who need them most.

This noble effort reflects the values of compassion, sacrifice, and social responsibility that lie at the heart of Eid-ul-Adha. By working together, we were able to support vulnerable communities and strengthen the bonds of humanity and solidarity.

We sincerely thank Muslim Charity for their generous contribution and continued commitment to improving the lives of disadvantaged people. Our appreciation also goes to all volunteers, field staff, community leaders, and supporters whose dedication ensured the successful implementation of this program.

Together, we continue to make a difference, one act of kindness at a time.

🌙🐄 Qurbani Program 2026 Successfully Completed 🐄🌙

Alhamdulillah!

With the generous support of Qatar Charity, SHEBA MANAB KALLYAN KENDRA (SMKK) successfully implemented the Qurbani Program 2026 across 21 districts of Bangladesh.

A total of 88 cows were sacrificed and the meat was distributed among beneficiaries in orphanages and madrasas, bringing joy and nutritious food to thousands of underprivileged children, students, and vulnerable families during the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

This humanitarian initiative reflects the true spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and solidarity, ensuring that those in need can share in the blessings of Eid.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Qatar Charity for their valuable partnership and unwavering commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in Bangladesh. We also thank all field staff, volunteers, and stakeholders whose dedication made this program a success.

Together, we continue to serve humanity and build a more caring and compassionate society.

Through collective action and community advocacy, the Community-Based Group (CBG) of 05 No. Magur Group from Koruna Village under Mokamia Union successfully initiated road development in their community through the Nagorikata: SCEGE-CVC Project, funded by the Embassy of Switzerland, Global Affairs Canada (GAC), and the European Union (EU), with support from FMA-GFA.

Following training, awareness sessions, and continuous guidance from the project, the CBG members confidently approached the Union Parishad with a request for brick soling on the village road.

Their collective efforts resulted in a positive response, and the road development work is now ongoing, demonstrating the power of community leadership, participation, and grassroots advocacy in driving sustainable change.

Under the Nagorikata: SCEGE-CVC Project, SMKK successfully organized community sensitization workshops on gender equality and climate justice in Barguna and Betagi.

The sessions brought together community members to enhance understanding of inclusive development, gender equity, and locally led climate action. Participants actively engaged in discussions on how communities can collectively respond to climate challenges while ensuring equal rights, participation, and opportunities for all.

Through such initiatives, we continue to promote informed, resilient, and empowered communities.
