The BUFT Merchandising Club is incredibly proud to announce the successful completion of the Poster Presentation and Industry Induction Session hosted by the Faculty of Apparel Studies on 11 May 2026.

This prestigious gathering at the BUFT Multipurpose Hall served as a premier stage for students from the Departments of Apparel Merchandising & Management (AMM) and Apparel Manufacturing Technology (AMT) to bridge the gap between academic brilliance and professional practice.

Alongside the BUFT Apparel Club, our members showcased a sophisticated array of research-driven posters and innovative projects that captured the attention of the industry’s most respected figures. We were deeply honored to have Mr. Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, as our Chief Guest, and Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Vice Chancellor (Designate), as the Guest of Honor. Under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Engr. Mohammed Rubaiyat Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Apparel Studies, the audience was captivated by a powerful keynote speech from Engr. Md. Saiful Islam Shahin, Group Executive Director of New Asia Group. Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to Mr. Sabbir Ahmed Abir, Head of AMM, and Mr. Md. Monirul Islam Rajib, Head of AMT, for their dedicated presence.

This event underscored the BUFT Merchandising Club’s unwavering commitment to fostering a new era of apparel leaders through practical engagement and industry synergy, leaving us inspired to continue our pursuit of excellence in the global fashion landscape.
