ঈদের ছুটির দিনে যখন পুরো দেশ বিশ্রামে, তখন মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমান নিজেই গাড়ির স্টিয়ারিং হাতে তুলে নিয়ে টানা ৪ ঘণ্টা ঢাকা শহরের আনাচে-কানাচে ঘুরে বর্জ্য ব্যবস্থাপনা তদারকি করেছেন। এটি কেবল একটি আকস্মিক পরিদর্শন ছিল না; এটি ছিল পুরো জাতির উদ্দেশ্যে একটি শক্তিশালী বার্তা। তিনি যদি এই বার্তাটি সবার মাঝে সঠিকভাবে পৌঁছে দিতে পারেন এবং দেশের প্রতিটি নাগরিক ও কর্মকর্তা যদি উনার মতো করে ভাবতে শুরু করে, তবে আমি নিশ্চিত—আমরা খুব শীঘ্রই একটি অত্যন্ত সুন্দর ও সমৃদ্ধিশালী বাংলাদেশ দেখতে পাব।
আজ আমার তীব্র শারীরিক অসুস্থতা, স্পাইনাল কর্ডের (মেরুদণ্ড) সমস্যা এবং প্রচণ্ড কষ্টের মধ্যেও উনার এই অনন্য উদ্যোগ আমার হৃদয় ছুঁয়ে গেছে। একজন আন্তর্জাতিক ব্যবসায়ী (২৯ বছরের অভিজ্ঞতা সম্পন্ন), জেসিআই (JCI) এর সাবেক ওয়ার্ল্ড কন্টাক্ট পার্সন, এবং 'হোপস ডোর বাংলাদেশ' (Hope's Door Bangladesh)-এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা চেয়ারম্যান ও মানবাধিকার কর্মী হিসেবে আমি উনার এই সততা ও নিষ্ঠাকে গভীর চিত্তে মূল্যায়ন করছি. আমার আদর্শ সবসময়ই যেকোনো ধরনের সহিংসতার বিরুদ্ধে জিরো টলারেন্স বা শূন্য সহনশীলতা। আর ঠিক এই কারণেই জনগণের প্রতি উনার এই অহিংস ও দায়িত্বশীল শাসনপদ্ধতি আমাকে মুগ্ধ করেছে।
আমি আশা করি, প্রধানমন্ত্রীর এই কড়া বার্তা ও কর্মপদ্ধতি কেবল রাস্তাঘাট পরিষ্কারের মধ্যেই সীমাবদ্ধ থাকবে না; বরং সরকারের প্রতিটি সেক্টরে—বিশেষ করে স্বাস্থ্য খাত এবং বিচার বিভাগে জরুরি ভিত্তিতে বাস্তবায়িত হবে। বর্তমানে আমাদের স্বাস্থ্য খাতের যে নাজুক অবস্থা (যা আমি নিজে একজন ভুক্তভোগী হিসেবে অনুভব করেছি), তা সংস্কার করা অত্যন্ত জরুরি। হাম, নিউমোনিয়া বা যেকোনো প্রতিরোধযোগ্য রোগে আমাদের দেশের নিষ্পাপ শিশুদের অকাল মৃত্যু অবিলম্বে বন্ধ করতে হবে।
সরকারের প্রতিটি মন্ত্রী, প্রতিমন্ত্রী এবং সকল পর্যায়ের কর্মকর্তাদের বুঝতে হবে যে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নিজে রাস্তায় নেমে কী বার্তা দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করছেন। উনার পাশে থেকে অলসতা ও ফাঁকিবাজি পরিহার করে প্রতিটি খাতকে পুনর্গঠন করতে হবে। তবেই একটি বৈষম্যহীন ও সুস্থ বাংলাদেশ গড়ে তোলা সম্ভব।
মাননীয় নেতা, আপনার এই পথচলা দীর্ঘ হোক। আপনার বাবা শহীদ রাষ্ট্রপতি জিয়াউর রহমান এবং মাতার দেশপ্রেমের যে দৃষ্টান্ত আপনি বহন করছেন, তা এভাবেই প্রতিটি সেক্টরে প্রতিফলিত হোক।

On a public holiday when the entire nation was asleep, our Honorable Prime Minister Tareque Rahman took the steering wheel into his own hands and drove for 4 straight hours to personally inspect the city's cleanliness. This was not just a routine check; it was a profound message to the entire nation. If this message is correctly understood and if every individual begins to think the way he does, I envision a truly beautiful and reformed Bangladesh.
Even though I am currently battling severe physical ailments and spinal issues, seeing his dedication filled my heart with immense hope. As an International Business Professional with 29 years of experience, a former JCI World Contact Person, and the Founder Chairman of 'Hope's Door Bangladesh' acting as a human rights activist, I deeply appreciate and salute his integrity. My principles have always stood for zero tolerance against any form of violence, and his peaceful, accountable governance resonates deeply with my soul.
This core message of accountability must now echo across every single government branch—especially the Health and Justice sectors. Having faced the system's vulnerabilities firsthand through my own health journey, I emphasize that our healthcare system requires an immediate emergency overhaul. We must urgently reform this sector to stop the tragic and preventable deaths of young children suffering from measles, pneumonia, and other illnesses.
Every Minister, State Minister, and government official must thoroughly grasp the message the Prime Minister is setting by stepping onto the streets. It is time for everyone to step out of their comfort zones and mirror his dedication to uplifting every sector.
Honorable Leader, your uncompromised stance is the system-change we have been waiting for. You are truly carrying forward the profound legacy of your noble father, Shahid President Ziaur Rahman, and your mother.
