নববর্ষ অর্থাৎ নতুন বছরের আগমন। পুরনো বিষাদ, দুঃখ ও গ্লানি পেছনে ফেলে এক নতুন জীবনের সূচনা।
বাঙালির জীবনযাত্রা, আনন্দ ও সাম্প্রদায়িক সম্প্রীতির এক অনন্য উৎসব এই দিন।

এই দিনে হৃদয়ের সকল গ্লানি মুছে যাক, উন্মোচিত হোক নতুন স্বপ্নের দুয়ার।

২৬ মার্চ ১৯৭১, আমাদের স্বাধীনতার সূচনা, এক ভয়াল রাতের পর নতুন ভোরের গল্প। 🇧🇩

১৯৭১ সালের ২৫ মার্চের রাত যা “কালরাত” নামে পরিচিত। সেই রাতে নিরস্ত্র বাঙালির উপর চালানো হয় নির্মম হামলা। ঢাকাসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন জায়গায় শুরু হয় গণহত্যা। কিন্তু এই বর্বরতা বাঙালিকে দমাতে পারেনি, বরং স্বাধীনতার আকাঙ্ক্ষাকে আরও শক্ত করে তোলে।

২৫ মার্চের সেই অন্ধকারের মধ্যেই স্বাধীনতার ঘোষণা আসে, আর ২৬ মার্চ থেকে বাঙালি জাতি মুক্তভাবে নিজের অধিকার প্রতিষ্ঠার জন্য যুদ্ধে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ে। শুরু হয় আমাদের মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধ।

এই ইতিহাস আমাদের শেখায় স্বাধীনতা কখনো সহজে আসে না, এটি অর্জন করতে হয় সাহস, ত্যাগ আর অদম্য ইচ্ছাশক্তি দিয়ে।

আজ Hult Prize-এর অংশ হিসেবে আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, সেই একই সাহস আর চেতনা নিয়েই আমাদের এগিয়ে যেতে হবে। নতুন প্রজন্ম হিসেবে আমাদের দায়িত্ব দেশের জন্য কিছু করা, পরিবর্তন আনা, এবং একটি সুন্দর ভবিষ্যৎ গড়া।
